"ChatGPT delivers sermon to packed German church"
"The chatbot's sermon reportedly focused on leaving the past behind, paying attention to the present,
not being afraid of death and maintaining faith in Jesus Christ ... Four different AI avatars took turns
leading the service and reportedly drew laughter at times for their monotonous, deadpan delivery.
There was no heart and no soul"

While better avatars should be available soon, the subtlety is that AI is presenting
what it learned from the internet - not direct inspiration as would be delivered by a human preacher.
AI prompts effectively guide AI on what to say about what it has learned. And what it has learned
derives from its synthesis of many different (even conflicting) contributions to the internet.
Apparently, human editing of what AI creates will probably be necessary for several decades!
