" 'I believe life begins at conception, and those are babies too,' Ricketts told CNN’s Dana Bash on 'State of the Union'
when asked if he thought the state should require a young girl who was raped to carry the pregnancy to term"

Such rape is theft of a woman's egg since conception does not occur until a sperm enters therein ...
and that usually when permitted by the woman. This rape effectively becomes crime forgiven by the state.
In fairness even to God, life should not be a gift of crime; the woman - not state - should lead resolution
Apparently, the holiness of conception occurs only after the man and the woman,
by freewill choice, permit that conception ... since man is the keeper of sperm
and woman keeper of the eggs ... as God intended ... apparently.
Rape suggests unplanned conception which often predicts
poor quality of child nurturing, however opportunity
for the state to provide assistance (which could
help persuade a pro-life choice by the woman).
