however, "tough love" may be your better option.

Suddenly, the Art of Transition suggests opportunity to explore a preferred persona
before surgery/medications force permanence of that new persona.

A male wannabe chef might even explore the Julia Child persona, relative to one's current age.
(easily conceivable since "A cookbook is only as good as its poorest recipe.")

are precisely defined ... and have been for millennia

Perhaps, the problem is that modern society refuses
to accept widely varying behaviors of men and women,
thus requiring a fathomless pit of new terms ...
which have still-evolving definitions!

Conspiracy theory explains that this debate is nurtured
to guarantee that 'man' and 'woman' remain undefinable ...

Interesting story with important but subtle revelation: Bisexuality is probably more common than believed (or accepted, even in today's society!). Interestingly, medical technology is so new, complex, and confusing that a recently vaccinated male (traditional definition) might believe that he (traditional definition) could indeed be pregnant! ... with delivery potential still mysterious as well as type of creature to be delivered unknown (assuming a living - not bionic - creature).

Best guess: If a male (traditional definition) discovers that he (traditional definition) is indeed pregnant, insemination by a space alien would be just as believable as vaccination mischief/experimentation. Then there's the more provocative explanation: "I was once stiffed by a date and spent the rest of the night at a bar. ... as I recall."

Actually, "came out" refers to two different events: biological birth and (later) gender self-perception.
IMO, the problem of "transgender" is the physical alteration of biological reality and the problem of "nonbinary"
is the refusal to accept a Darwinian scientific classification

However, "Darwinian classification" (organisms are grouped according to both similarity and genetic relationship)
is now an oxymoron for modern gender discussion ... since genetic relationship (re: chromosomes) does not change
but similarity varies according to the second (or third ... ) coming out.

An interesting decade ahead ... considering children's imagination This kind of instruction should probably coordinate with their art education since there are MANY more colors! (more than enough for all current identities and more to be imagined). However, purple already hints of trouble with the church, since purple has long been associated with Easter celebration, for example.

By the end of the decade, most popular colors will have associated with a particular sexual identity, making clothes purchases easier ... if children prefer to advertise their identity. And several decades ago, colored handkerchiefs were popular for advertising sub-identity of gay males (albeit, in which pocket to wear one oft required professional counseling).

The reality of spoken language: More is being communicated than just words (facial expressions, gestures, tone of voice, etc.) ... and confirming text alone (e.g., email, texting in social media, printed stories) is susceptible to communicating that which was not intended.

A father shouting 'stupid son of a b***h' at a teenage son seems offensive unless delivered with the right tone voice as in humor, but shouting the same words at his dog that just chewed on his new leather boots is usually not delivered with humor

Who can tell A priest might even say this privately to a person giving confession,
especially if the priest now has to report a crime.
