Those were the 1980's. Actually, twelve years 1978-1989.
Such positive vibes:
1978
1979
1980
1981
1982
1983
1984
1985
1986
1987
1988
1989
And, finally, the song that killed 1980's and took as to 1990, a completely different era...

Re: 1980's
That's a great post, Robert. I still like the BeeGees much to the embarassment of all my musician friends. I've got to do some chores this morning but will watch all of those later today.

I believe 1980's peaked at around 1984. Or 1982-1986 to be exact.Welles wrote:That's a great post, Robert. I still like the BeeGees much to the embarassment of all my musician friends. I've got to do some chores this morning but will watch all of those later today.

Re: 1980's
I sometimes get homesick for the 80's myself. It was such a good time for me as my children were young and life was new and fresh! Does that make any sense?
...and I too love the BGs Welles and nearly every month try and listen to at least a little of their music. It makes me feel good and don't ya think one has to love a band that was made up of pretty darn good brothers?
Thanks for all these fabulous samples from across the 80's. Robert. I now know where to turn when I need a little slice of that "old time feeling."
Love,
Sandy
I must admit too that I still listen to and love the late John Denver's music... another musician that makes you feel good to be alive.
My all time favourite was a song entitled, "Matthew' .
