OH! I DO hope you keep this thread...it was this post that I opened first when I returned home and it was Geoff's response that pulled me out of my slump:
I can tell you something that may take you a very long time to realise. What you think about you CREATE. Live in fear, and you will create a life full of fear for yourself. Live in love, and you will create a life full of love. The choice is yours.
Hiya You loverly people, Hey sammy, it's great to see your mug on here again.
I love Geoff's message too. And I will write it my finest calligraphy and magnet
it to the fridge door to remind me and my family.

It has been over a year since wingzie passed, AJ, and for some reason I still tear up whenever my thoughts turn to her even for the briefest of moments... I hope we will hear something soon... Wouldn't that be special! Love you Wingzie!
Love you all!

I once wrote to Wingzie telling her that whilst doing Stillness at Fynnonen waterfall I was admiring
droplets of water hanging in the wet brances of an old tree and for some reason it made me think of her.
Recently during my bout of SAD I was on the balcony and one of my plants had lots of droplets of water
and was glistening in the bright light. I thought of Carol and was about to cry when I heard: "Remember
what you always advised Petra, everything is transient!" I immediately felt a lot better.

Oh I love that! So true... Yes, I suppose everything does change doesn't it and would we want it to stay the same? Makes me think about my own way of being over the years, disliking change as I have... but would I truly want things to always be the same even if time were stuck in one of my most beautiful moments? I am wondering if even then, I would grow tired and the moment loose its magic.
Our Carol was/is a wise woman, no doubt!
Love you Pet!

Miss you Carol, thanks for everything. Pet XXXX
Petra, I remember realizing that everything was temporary/transient back in my early years of college and that we all better be getting used to that. I declared this outloud to friends and my boyfriend at the time. The boyfriend got very upset with me, but the friends that heard me understood what I meant. Reading your post here reminded me of that time. Not that it was bad, but it did get my boyfriend upset, but that's because he had a completely different philosophy at the time.

I never new Wingzie that well, but she has been popping up in my mind for a few weeks now (even prior to "coming back home"). We all seem to be on the same wave length with Wingzie right now...she must have something exciting she wants to share with us!
Carol was amazing, i didnt get too aquainted with her in the moderators group but the day she passed over, i felt her glowing love, many of us did, and sometimes i feel she is here with us today when i open the 11 forum. I'll never forget that touching poem she posted about her struggles, ive lost it in the ethernet now.
Love you too Wingzie....

Speaking of Carol, did anyone else write their names on a quilt patch that she was putting together? I know we sent her one and I wonder what ever happened to that wonderful quilt?
"Hesitate no longer to become love!" - Our Divine Mother
Hi AJ,
Yes, George and I made a quilt patch for her quilt. Her dear friend Linda completed it for her and on some of her hard days she said she had it thrown over her as a reminder of the Love we all share. I saw a photo of it once and dern it, somewhere along the way it is gone...I lost some of her emails on my ancient computer when outlook crashed while I was in the US. (long story there) So I suspect it was among those. I too wonder what has become of it.
Love,
Sandy

Threads start for many reasons and eventhough it began with fear it ends in love and this is the point. We all find ourselve doubting and it helps to hear others doubt and rise above using the truth that resides inside all of us. Thank you all

It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.
Hello dear friends! Yes there were times that I had doubts about what I was seeing, but always when that happened I was directed to come to the board and I felt very comforted. Thank you all! Love ya! Brenda
