What's lost in this commentary (which makes the point about not associating perpetrators of crimes with a religion)
is that the "nutty white guys" mantra is often about better gun control and not about violence in the name of religion;
effectively an "apples and oranges" comparison ... but works for this commentary.

Lesson: If we would use media stuff to support our perspective,
we ought know such writing creativity.

OMG! BK might need its cleaned grills blessed by a Rabbi (or Priest, Imam, whomever)
in order to authenticate its burgers as "vegan" ... in this nitpickin' concept grillin'.

The obvious trend of this complaint is that the counters upon which burgers are wrapped,
their packaging materials, the staff who handle both meat and vegan burgers, etc., are all
effectively complicit in "contaminating" the vegan offering.

At least, "faux meat" cautions that it has association with real meat (somehow).

Interesting study, but hinting that these owners commit to a less-consumption lifestyle
to adapt to the confined space. A multi-family tiny home would be even more interesting

An observation about "politics" ...

Contrary to popular assumption, the losing side in an election (especially, involving a large number of voters where there's absence of decisive "landslide") does not accept defeat, but simply tolerates defeat ... still choosing to promote its favorite agendas where possible, immediately preparing to win in the next election, and often (in recent decades) doing its best to interfere with the winning side's agendas.

This suggests that "politics" is more about cooperation than agreement or even resolution. After all, the many factors that cause political alignment (or distance) do not resolve in a short period of time, despite an election suggesting this. And this is true even for religious organizations where "politics" is practiced the ol' fashioned way.

Any time you walk into a store from a car parking lot,
hold in your stomach muscles. By the time this becomes a habit
(not requiring conscious effort), you'll notice that your stomach
is not so "relaxed" ... and pants fit better!

While it's easy - even popular - to scream "Stop Climate Change or Perish!",
the various causes suggest that humans are not prepared for the sacrifices required
to reduce (not stop) climate change (aka "greenhouse effect").

Consider electricity created by burning fossil fuels:
What appliances/devices are we willing to use less of?
Or use less heat in the winter and less AC in the summer?

Consider fuel combustion in commercial transportation (buses, trucks, trains, ships, planes):
Would we travel less and accept slower shipments of products?

Like all political arguments that shout about problems but offer few practical solutions,
reduction of climate change begs for solutions, including human willingness to contribute,
especially by reducing consumption as well as reducing weight (which has to be maintained
by more food ... thus more AC, more fuel for transportation, more clothing, etc.).

Should we be shouting about "climate change" if we're not taking steps to contribute?

As for me, I'm using no AC in my house this summer (day temps now average 102F).
But this is not for "climate change" - I'm testing endurance of the elderly.
My house remains a cool 90F with pre-sun cooling, then closing doors & windows.

Sounds like typical complaints from staff in many grocery stores

On the other hand ...

- That the grocery store has sufficient business to pay employees is a good thing!
- Some shoppers who take more than one sample are self-pressured to buy the product.
- "Do you work here?" is perceived as a polite way to start conversation to ask for assistance.
- Abandoning a cart can make it available to a shopper who didn't get one at the front door.
- In the near future, robots will be able to handle these problems ... without complaining.

This makes sense (along with good nutrition) since nutrients need to be delivered to the brain
(via good blood vessels and heart pumping) in order for it to maintain healthy development/maintenance
of the various types of brain cells and their interconnections.

It's easy to conjecture that dementia is a modern disease because of the many labor-saving devices
and ubiquitous transportation (often minimizing walking - consider elevators and escalators).

Obviously, most people under 40 years of age get sufficient exercise, but after 40
... especially significant heart- and muscle-beneficial exercise

A guy called my cell phone (which usually sits in a drawer unless I'm in my car) to bitch that he's on a ladder and my number has called him many times ... then disconnects when he answers. I finally answered one of his calls to inquire WTF? He was satisfied that he didn't need to answer those calls from my number, but neither did he believe that I wasn't calling him!

So, I asked an AT&T guy who just arrived next door and he said that an app (for Smart Phones) can spoof a number. He told me to ignore the bitchin' but check my AT&T statement to make sure that I'm not being billed for those nuisance calls.

Somehow, "concrete" seems a bit inflexible for the stresses (especially weather) that the tunnels must endure for years! ... not to mention internal explosions, submarines, and heat/vibration from vehicles. Considering that the design is primarily for landscape appearance, these tunnels might best wait for superior materials.
