 Dietary linkage to Alzheimer's?

Re: https://nationalpost.com/health/19-year ... alzheimers
"19-year-old (in China) becomes youngest ever diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease"

"A sample of the young patient’s cerebrospinal fluid had a high concentration of p-tau181, while a PET scan showed mild hippocampal atrophy, the study says. Both indicators led the authors to diagnose him with 'probable' Alzheimer’s disease."

See also: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6473547/
"Modulating Effect of Diet on Alzheimer’s Disease" (Jan 26, 2019)

"The present review gathers the scientific evidence existing up-to-date showing the potential modulating effect of diet on Alzheimer’s disease, due to the actions of nutrients on different processes, such as Aβ accumulation, tau hyperphosphorylation, oxidative stress, inflammation, or autophagy. Altogether, this evidence brings to light the relevant role that nutritional intervention might play in these patients and in the population at risk of developing AD, enlightening once again the importance of dietary patterns in health maintenance."

"The Mediterranean Diet includes multiple nutrients that have been proven to be favourable and high adherence to these dietary requirements decreases the risk of developing AD or mild cognitive impairment. Namely, the protective effect has been linked to several substances with antioxidant function, such as olive oil, wine, vegetables, fruits, vitamins, and polyphenols, that are able to diminish oxidative stress and inflammation."

"As it turns out, size does matter: Researchers fear the phallic inflation is due to unhealthy habits,
like binging junk food or being mostly sedentary, or even pollution." :o

"other research has linked size to a number of social and health consequences. One study found that the larger the dong,
the bigger the personality, another concluded men with longer members are more likely to spend big bucks on sports cars."

:bana: This might explain why some sports car aficionados want more leg room.
However, such studies need to factor in births per population (more births in populations
with naturally longer dongs might affect the statistics more than length change). ;)

 And recent news about the Chinese inflatables (balloons)
hints that these might be another cause of phallic inflation. :?

 The good news is that robots can be programmed to have preferred personality
(request via smartphone before going to hotel or restaurant). In the future, the chip*
in your hand (or wherever) will identify your preferences, etc., when greeting the robot. 8)

LOL1: Later, you could send your own robot family member(s) to the hotel or restaurant
to test ambience, quality, personality, etc. (but robots may have secret programming
to be mutually respectful and cooperative). :hithere

LOL2: Hotels and restaurants avoiding use of robots will advertise "NOBOTS".

LOL3: Hotels and restaurants using robots will advertise "NOBOTS - No Service"
(accept robots or go to a different hotel/restaurant) :!:

LOL4: "NOBOTS - No Service" is not related to social media nonsense
about a restaurant's "No Butts - No Service" where butts are indicative
of hearty appetites (thus, better restaurant income).

"Ayahuasca, 'source of knowledge' in the heart of the Amazon"

"The ritual is a grueling one that starts for most people with violent vomiting as part of a purge of the body. 'It’s like a great cleansing,' explained shaman Lucitante. Only then 'can the visions come. First colors. Then, if you concentrate, the jungle appears. Then the animals: the boa master of rivers, the catfish, or the jaguar master of the hunt. And finally people and spirits ... but not everyone can see them.' "

 This article hints that the ritual itself is the more important part of the ayahuasca experience, apparently a limited experience if not including violent vomiting. And the "visions" suggest that these appearances are more arbitrary symbolism than direct communication "from above".
