Thought Adjuster: “The presence of God in human life is only demonstrable through the individual experience of each soul. This experience can be unconscious like a sensation of being safe and a trust that somehow everything is well and our destiny is secured. The presence of God is not an intellectual realization or an idea to offer solace to overwhelmed minds when the normal situations of life bring them challenges and trials.

You can feel the presence of God when you observe the fruits of spirit manifesting in your life. A common one is the peace that feels like a balm in the lives of those who know they are children of God. This is not an expression of ease when everything goes well. It is rather a state of calm that is not altered even when everything seems wrong. It is the certainty that even when appearances suggest the opposite, the universe is under control and it is a place where we are unconditionally accepted.

The fruits of spirit seldom have anything to do with the desires of human beings. The wishes of men are generally materialistic and are his intellectual creations. The fruits of spirit arise spontaneously, even when a person knows that she may have never consciously wished for such things, because before a spiritual awakening, those things were undefinable to her. Human beings can desire to love their peers, but when this love truly becomes an experience in their lives through the effort of knowing the Father better, they discover that the characteristics and the way in which this love is expressed could have not been anticipated before in their lives.

The spiritual fruits are always surprising in their modes of expression, but not in their eventual achievement. All those who truly desire to know the will of the Father and then consciously decide to align themselves with this will can be certain of the appearance of those banners of perfection that so eloquently announce to the universes that another human being has awakened to her true purpose.”
