I just got a call from Laura
The hospital called her at 2:30 am,,,they have a heart for her.
so at my time 10:11 am pacific time, she is in the hospital awaiting the operation.
I forgot to ask her which hospital,,so I'm just presuming she's in Orlando Florida.
Advent Florida Transplant HOSPITAL,,Orlando Florida,
I am on the phone with her as I TYPE
She says hello and thanks everyone for all their assistance.

She is in surgery now,,,8:30 pm Mtn time...

I join you all in prayer for Laura. It is exciting to know she is getting her heart right now as I type. May God bless the hands of those brilliant Doctors and nurses. For some strange reason I keep having this urge to call to her. The minute I close my eyes and say her name my hands heat up. Are you guys experiencing anything of the sort?

I see her in your river Kim with all of us around her. My heart is filled with so much love for her and all of you.

yes, she has been on my mind/in my heart for the past 24+ hrs...
Robert called me at 5:30 this am,,,she had just come out of surgery and the Dr was 'pleased' she is doing well.
Now she is in ICU for a few days,,,with 24 hr nurse in her room with her.
I wish they could see all the celestials grouped around her!!!
I spoke with Robert about 3 hrs ago and he told me more - that I can't really write about....but she is doing good!!!
She has a long haul ahead....I will keep posting here.

We have been thinking about Laura all day. George and I are happy to know she is out of surgery and in the ICU.
They'll take the very best care of her there.
Prayers continue.

How's Robert holding up? Does he have someone there supporting him through this?

Yes Robert has good support,,,their daughter and her family is with him..

Blessed we are!!!
Laura as come thru her surgery...with flying colours!!
I spoke with her today,,,her Drs are really, really, really pleased,
so much so,,they are sending her home shortly,,,like tomorrow or the next day..
She says she feels wonderful and has NO PAIN at all. She has colour in her skin again!!
She is so grateful to all who have helped her,,,and sends her love and thanks.
Meanwhile,,,I would like to ask for continued healing and prayers, as she has a time period hoping for no rejection.
She will have biopsies twice a week for a while...it's still quite the process.

The whole time I was gone and unable to connect to the internet, was hoping and praying for Laura! My TA told me she was ok, and I'd had a few conversations in my head where she said she was alright, but REALLY happy to read the words!
