My first feather!!

Hello everyone :D

Just wanted to report that I just now received my first feather! It was half grey and half white, about an inch tall.

based on the event, I would have to believe that my feather was another form of a prompt. One that is given when there are no clocks, numbers or the usually available methods available.

I was outside fixing a fence for my dad, when i discovered the break. It was where it broke last time and whoever fixed it then really wasn't concerned with doing it the correct way. they just tied a piece of string between the two broken ends of wire, and kind of left it at that. I find it simply unbelievable that a piece of string didn't hold togther a metal fence wire which is subject to 800lb+ animals flexing it! Whoodathunkit??

Anyhow, as I realized that i was in the same place that have been since 1996 (fixing things for other people who don't care enough to fix them for themselves, yet have no problem asking me to...) I started slipping back into the darkness (of my mind) of feelings of depression. And just then, before these emotions started to pull down my vibration, there was the feather on the ground!!
Immediately those negative feeelings were abated and I was smiling again :sunny:

Thought I would share this before I continued my life of hopeless drudgery! :duh :bomb

have a great day!!

jody

Feathers are my favorite prompt. I always seem to get them when I start doubting.....Some of my feathers aren't even from birds...(kids costume, etc.)! They sure have a way of saying hello to us, don't they? I'm so glad you got a feather. I'll bet you'll be getting more now, too!

Love, Clare

P.S. Okay, this is happening WAY so much...my post says 2:22 :D

I could use a whole bird today!

This past week my straight laced son (the one off at college) dumped his LONG time girlfriend and last night posted a pic on facebook sporting a brand new MOHAWK (and a brand new nasty attitude from the look on his face).....Is 19 too young for a Mid life crisis????? :?

LOVE!!!!

A whole bird! Too funny, Sammy!

I hear ya. A Mohawk, huh? Well it CAN be amusing to watch them assert their individuality.

Hang in there!

Tons o'hugs!

A wise man once said, "Today, let's try to be grateful for the small things"... And at that moment, all was okay.
Pretty much sums it up!

Have a great day everyone!!

That's awsome Tina! I would have almost cried, too! :D Still waiting to see one, myself. I asked them this morning - so maybe I'll see one, soon! hehe

Have a wonderful day (or night) everyone!

It's true, Sammy....the hair grows back. I always have to say that what's "inside the book" is more important than the cover! Does that make sense? Of course, I haven't gone through the "rebellion" stage yet with my teenagers....I'm holding my breath! By the way, thanks to everyone for being here on this site for me!!! :)
