We have enough water here now for anyone I reckons. vast area's have been flooded and it's been terrible, it's still raining now in some area's but for me I've been lucky and had a good couple of days. The other day the lightning struck directly over and around where I live, the entire building shook with the raw power, it was scary and awesome at the same time. I should be going to Whitby (of Dracula/Bram Stoker fame) on the east coast in August to help out with the Folk Music festival that's held there each year. I'll be able to get on the camp site there and get off out and about for a few days too...weather permittingSandy wrote:Hey Jack![]()
I wish you could send that wonderful British rain to some parched areas of the US. Been very dry and hot over there my parents say.
Camping should be great funalthough, it can be rather miserable camping in the rain. But in a way, if you think about it, perhaps that is part of it...makes the adventure stories on the return all the more potent.
You know...something to the effect... "I survived the deluge of 1982 in a flimsy tent on the side of a mountain overlooking a precarious ravine!"... with wolves nipping at my heels." that kind of thing.

It's an everyday thing... Wait until you don't get a prompt. Then you start to feel rejected or forgotten.jack6251 wrote:I've had a few different numbers lately consisting of 1010, 1234, 1111, 1212 and a 0101. All these within the past week so if anyone wants to share them or borrow a couple, I've enough to go around

Don't worry it gets more intense.jack6251 wrote: Nah Flint I was trying to be light hearted there, I have had quite long periods before where I haven't seen any prompts for some time, I just take those periods in my stride and if my numbers up, that's ok, it was fun while they showed. It's not always an everyday thing with me, sometimes I don't see anything for weeks but thought wow, I've had a lot on a short space of time.
I may not get anything like that again since I've never really had that many in a short space before.
Jack
Thanks very much, Flint~! Also, always a pleasure to read about your adventures with estate sales. I've been going through a number of yard sales throughout the year, but nothing too interesting on my end. (The prices for some decorative stuff have been really good, though.) One day...inlikeflint wrote:
That is a good feeling to have.
