Hmmm ...

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them" (Genesis 1:27)

Since this song was written long after God created male and female
(but still long before God then created he and she 'they'), the song
just reflects the increasingly distant pro-God pronouns.

Why not adapt the song to modern times, like this
(assuming 'Bro' also gets new pronouns):

Best guess: Human emotions are necessary alarms to instruct

since anatomy alone reveals only two genders! Nevertheless, a moot point

The good news is that, except for eating certain ocean fish, it may easy to reduce consumption of microplastics by never microwaving food in disposable plastic containers, limiting plastic-bottled drinks (and drinks served in plastic cups), and avoiding convenience foods in plastic containers (especially if kept hot in a store, like baked chicken)

Since "bowel disease" is mentioned, this suggests that the body is trying to eliminate microplastics and could use more beneficial fiber (chia seeds and raw carrots are good sources ... but there are many others). BTW: The immune system continually dumps toxins and other debris into the "sewer", expecting that dietary fiber will help eliminate this quickly (and not linger to cause bowel disease?).

As for airborne microplastics, masks probably help even if they don't catch microscopic disease particles
(but these may be attached to sneeze droplets that ARE caught by masks).
