Yes? Then you might eat bugs by proxy."

This comment is subtle reminder that evolution set up this system
where critters can safely consume bugs, converting that nourishment
into people food (why we eat those critters - not their food).
To cut out the middle man (critter) in this evolutionary food chain,
could present a Biblical retelling of the human existence story, IMO.
That many plants can be safely consumed by critters and humans
suggests that THIS consumption - not conversion of plants into
like-a-critter food - is also part of the evolutionary design.

Best guess: If bugs can be raised to be edible, we will need
safeguards to keep the non-edible bugs out of the system.

Caution: Current societal solutions to problems reveal
that simply redefining a problem can be a solution;
calling a creepy crawly "bug" may soon be illegal.
