Im not sure if this has been discussed here before, but there is another way that music uplifts us, and that is through dance. Moving my body to music almost feels like flying sometimes. I find myself lifting my spirits through dance a lot lately. Usually by myself, though I wonder if I’m truly dancing alone. It’s funny how different songs make you move in unique ways. Definitely! One day, while living in this apartment, I found my self twirling in ecstasy with the Divine. I saw God as my Beloved Partner, I did not feel alone one iota. To your rumination: "I wonder if I'm truly dancing alone...(?)" I say, definitely not!

Hey Eric,

It’s funny that you should mention ‘twirling in ecstasy.” Last night I felt spirit take me and twirl me around. I know there’s a purpose to my isolation, and that’s to grow my connection to the divine. I checked my phone yesterday to see if I had any messages. I was hoping to hear from someone. While there were no text messages there, I did notice the time was 3:52, my TA prompt. So it was a very important message there after all. And I replied with “I love you too.”

I’ve also noticed this song by Coldplay coming up in my playlists lately. And I feel like it’s a fitting one to go with this post. It’s called A Message. “My song is love..”

When I was a kid I used to twirl. Loved the feeling of spinning. I haven't twirled in spirit though.. yet... Would like to experience it, but I suspect I have a whole bunch of "self" stuff to overcome first. Oh to be free....
