"Tupperware warns it could go out of business after failing to attract younger consumers"
"Tupperware products help reduce food waste by providing storage for leftovers."

Part of the problem is that other plastic storage containers may be less expensive
and these containers are often shared with friends and family (a Tupperware set
may soon be missing a container or three). Also, the typical round bowl shapes
could use more bottoms (not have such slanted sides). And square containers
seem to make better use of limited space in a refrigerator.

"Upperware" could refer to containers best for freezer storage
(MANY older refrigerators have a top level freezer ... and these
would have owners more likely to save leftovers).

Also, another "Joy of Leftovers" book makes a whimsical gift
but could also include helpful tips about storing modern foods. Finally,
avocado (a superfood) needs airtight storage, but mashing then
squeezing from an airtight container would be popular

"Even the Queen liked their little plastic pots, but the firm is teetering
on the brink of collapse because dutiful housewives no longer exist"

A bit sexist since dutiful house husbands (or whatever) also like plastic containers.
I suspect the colors are so "last century"! After all, it's helpful to see what's stored.
Clear bottoms but tops with vibrant rainbow colors might work ...
since more information would be shared.
