Lost Myself
January 22, 2022
Right there,
shadowed by that dark idea.
I lost,
then found myself again.
While roiling, churning, hiding from illumination,
heart's love was there all the while.
Wind, stars, musical vibrations, reminding
from whence I came.
Waiting in wisdom, knowing for certain my true worth,
an invisible hand rested on a shoulder.
A whisper...tunneled...so deep.
“You are so much more than you allow yourself to be.”
For a moment in infinity I lost myself, as numerous times before,
then found Me once more.
A long slow breath drawn in relief.
A perfect time... to begin again.

Lost Myself
And Spirit whispered, "There are no limits."
We are akin to the aspen forests, seemingly separated but in actuality, one organism.

Sorry, realized I put this under the wrong thread. If any moderator would like to change it I would be grateful!

Re: Lost Myself
Thanks Eric,
Really wish someone had the time to put it with the inspired poetry.
Lol, I was thinking of you the other day. I was looking on-line for dishes. The first ones that piqued my interest had a peacock pattern. After looking at about 300 different sets of dishes over three days, I decided on the first ones that caught my eye, the one's with the peacock pattern!
I hope your quest to connect with The Green Man have proved fruitful!

Re: Lost Myself
Hi Kim and Eric,
Sorry Kim. It has been a crazy week here and I am ashamed to say I missed your post. As you can see your poem now sits in the poetry forum as you intended. I was so happy I didn't loose it in the process as it has been awhile since I used the mod tools.
This is a beautiful poem getting right to the heart of something I have experienced repeatedly.
Thank you!
hugs,
Sandy
