That has to be one of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen of the full moon! Thank you so much for sharing it! I can't believe the way you managed to capture all the little lines on the moon's surface! Such a gorgeous photo.
I know what you mean about how you weren't able to capture the full halo. Ours here last night was smaller, so it was photographable in its entirety (I found the pic on our local weather website). But once last year, the halo was larger than my ability to see all of it at once -- it took up the entire night sky, and it was impossible to photograph. I have never seen anything like it! Is that how yours looked last night?
So cool to think that with a distance of 4,700 miles separating us, we both saw the same phenomenon last night!

It's even greater when you live where I am, in the suburbs away from the light pollution of the city, and I loved the look outside in my backyard so much that I insisted on texting people how much I loved it.
