:study: Impromptu research (aka "Egyptian History Tap Dance") ;)
regarding http://www.theub.org/part-iii.html#P095_1_8
Paper 95 - "The Melchizedek Teachings in the Levant"

:scratch: This research hints, IMO, that UB authors did not directly reveal
that Amenehope preceded Ikhnaton, but were permitted to share clues
via their presentation of the chronology of that period. And while
this chronology suggests that the UB is incorrect, the opposite
may be true (but unknown by human sources for the UB). 8)

~~~ [Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV) did indeed precede Amenemope?] ~~~
Re: https://ehistory.osu.edu/biographies/am ... -akhenaton
"Reign of Amenhotep IV (Akhenaton): 1350-1334 BC"
"Akhenaten was an intellectual and philosophical revolutionary who had the power and wealth to indulge his ideas. However, the ancient Egyptians were a deeply religious people who loved their ancient traditions and were not ready to embrace such radical changes. It would not be until the Christian era that the Egyptians would finally reject the old gods in favour of a single universal deity."
~~~ [Amenemope's influence as chief scribe 1319-1279 BC] ~~~

Re: https://www.academia.edu/42690869/Instr ... _Amenemope

"The scribes were responsible for carrying on the tradition of keeping the royal history of the kings and queens of ancient Egypt."

"Amenemope was the chief scribe of the nation for three successive royal administrations. As such he was responsible for the written works requested by three kings: Horemheb, Rameses I, and Sety I. Amenemope would administer and distribute these texts to the scribes under his management with instructions on where and how to place the writing. His service occurred at a time of a transition of power from the 19th to the 20th Dynasties."

1. Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horemheb

"Horemheb, also spelled Horemhab or Haremhab (Ancient Egyptian) was the last pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt (1550–1295 BC). He ruled for at least 14 years between 1319 BC and 1292 BC."

2. Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramesses_I

"Menpehtyre Ramesses I (or Ramses) was the founding pharaoh of ancient Egypt's 19th Dynasty. The dates for his short reign are not completely known but the time-line of late 1292–1290 BC is frequently cited as well as 1295–1294 BC."

3. Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seti_I

"Menmaatre Seti I (or Sethos I in Greek) was the second pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt during the New Kingdom period, ruling c.1294 or 1290 BC to 1279 BC."

~~~ [UB's statement(?) that Amenemope preceded Ikhnaton (Akhenaten) ~~~
"The teachings of Amenemope were slowly losing their hold on the Egyptian mind when, through the influence of an Egyptian Salemite physician, a woman of the royal family espoused the Melchizedek teachings. This woman prevailed upon her son, Ikhnaton, Pharaoh of Egypt, to accept these doctrines of One God." (95:5.1)
~~~ [Obviously, "these doctrines of One God" are Melchizedek's - not Amenemope's - and Amenemope's Instruction (teachings)
was inclusive of Egyptian works from previous dynasties (helps explains how 95:5.1 can be both correct and misleading). ~~~

Re: https://www.perankhgroup.com/Amenemope.htm

"the close literary relationship between Amenemope and earlier Ancient Egyptian works such as the Instruction of Kagemni and the Instruction of Ptahhotep (both dated to at least the 12th dynasty)"

Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Maxims_of_Ptahhotep

"The Maxims of Ptahhotep or Instruction of Ptahhotep is an ancient Egyptian literary composition composed by the Vizier Ptahhotep around 2375–2350 BC, during the rule of King Djedkare Isesi of the Fifth Dynasty."

"The Instructions of Ptahhotep addresses various virtues that are necessary to live a good life and how to live accordingly to Maat, which was an important part of the Egyptian culture."

"The sage of our instruction is called Amen-em-apt, son of Kanakht, may have been a contemporary of Amenhotep, son of Hapu. He could also have been a literary figure used by a wise Ramesside scribe. Except for 'overseer of fields' and 'scribe who determined the offerings for all the gods', no other of the title cited by our sage are found on the monuments or papyri! His titles seem paraphrases in literary, poetical form."

:scratch: If not literary figure based on real-life people, "Amenemope" may be ancient fiction/imagination
that interprets as reality in our 21st century study of those ancient hieroglyphics, etc. :roll:

"The Wisdom of Ancient Egypt" by Joseph Kaster, 1968
"The Proverbs of Amen-em-Ope", Chapter 17, p. 179

"The particular copy of the papyrus which has come down to us has been variously dated from the Twenty-second Dynasty to the Twenty-sixth,
with some authorities holding that the original text goes back to the Eighteenth Dynasty (1580-1320 BC).

:idea: This hints that the term 'artifactual' also describes expert opinion that is factual but only relative to the artifacts studied,
especially if not the originals. ;)

Re: "The Wisdom of Ancient Egypt" by Joseph Kaster, 1968,
"The Proverbs of Amen-em-Ope", Chapter 17, p. 161

"Amen-em-Ope boasts of his high offices"

:hithere Kaster's book persuades greater focus on the business of 'scribery'* in ancient Egypt, a profession open to non-royalty as well
(when beginning training as children). A subtlety of scribery from modern perspective is that the artifact containing the writing
may not be so date-definitive, especially if the writing is poetry or story (i.e., not original administrative document). :roll:

* Sounds like "bribery" but is not .... yet seems legal plagiarism, oft (?) attributed to "literary figures" ... then copied/distributed
... then copied/distributed. Of course, this may be more "Egyptian History Tap Dance" with subtle warning that further dancing
might insinuate that Dr. Sadler was familiar with this legal scribery. :shock:

:cheers: Not to worry - even opinion can be attributed to a literary figure. Mine would be 'Ro'
(misspelling of 'Rod', unnoticed when sent by that email years ago). :lol:

:study: Re: https://www.nkschools.org/common/pages/ ... d=23640021
"Daily Life in Ancient Egypt"

"High government officials led lives of luxury. Most were nobles who had great wealth, fine homes, and plenty of time to socialize. The lavish banquets enjoyed by these wealthy Egyptians illustrate their grand lifestyle ... Guests at banquets dressed in fine linen clothing. Both men and women wore perfume, and women often wore ropes of beads as jewelry, painted their nails, lined their eyes with makeup, and used lipstick.

At the start of a banquet, it was customary for guests to offer the host lengthy blessings, such as wealth, great happiness, a long life, and good health. The host often responded simply with 'Welcome, welcome,' or 'Bread and beer,' as a way of saying, 'Come and eat!' " :hithere

:cheers: In modern times, more classes participate in banquets (often sports related), but lengthy blessings for the host are rare ... and the host typically welcomes guests with "Pizza and beer!". However, it's only myth that the modern B&B started with the "Bread and beer!" greeting ... although "Pizza and beer!" is offered for some B&B breakfasts (but is usually leftover from the evening banquet). :roll:

:study: Re: https://de.zxc.wiki/wiki/Amenemope_(Wesir)

"high ancient Egyptian official of the 18th dynasty (1550-1292 BC) under King Amenophis II*.
Amenemope was a vizier and thus held the highest office of state after the king."

:idea: This might be the UB's Amen-em-Ope :!:

* Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amenhotep_II

"Amenhotep II (sometimes called Amenophis II and meaning 'Amun is Satisfied') was the seventh pharaoh
of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt ... His reign is usually dated from 1427 to 1401 BC."

Jesus' divinity existed before his humanity) 8)

:arrow: See also: UB Part IV introduction:

"This group of papers was sponsored by a commission of twelve Urantia midwayers acting under the supervision
of a Melchizedek revelatory director. The basis of this narrative was supplied by a secondary midwayer who was
onetime assigned to the superhuman watchcare of the Apostle Andrew."

:idea: This introduction hints that the creators of The Chosen invented note taking by the apostles.
This artistic invention seems explanation for how we know so much today about Jesus ...
rather than The Chosen introducing our planet's invisible next of kin, the midwayers. ;)

"Astronomer Royal says humanity will be replaced by AI robots - and aliens already are" :o

"I think, therefore I am ... not human." comes to mind. :roll:

:idea: This Royal conjecture suggests humanity produces AI which replaces humans,
otherwise AI is the natural universe and would not have caused humans to exist ...
since universe-distributed AI is the endgame. Somehow this perspective shouts
that the universe does not need to exist if widely-distributed AI is the endgame.

After all, if humans - not AI - are the first residents, from whence humans :?:

That AI exists as more than intelligence (like robots) because it mimics humans
suggests that humans must have preceded AI. And since AI neither breathes
nor consumes of what need are plants, animals, water, air, bacteria, etc.?

Suddenly "Artificial Intelligence" is a more enlightening term. ;)

:study: Quick review of UB statements about the linen sheets (shrouds) used to wrap Jesus
(first sheet carried him to the tomb; clean sheet probably used for ceremonial burial):

"The body was wrapped in a linen sheet as the four men carried it, followed by the faithful women watchers from Galilee. The mortals who bore the material body of Jesus to the tomb: Joseph, Nicodemus, John, and the Roman centurion." http://www.theub.org/part-iv.html#P188_1_3

"Joseph and Nicodemus had brought with them large quantities of myrrh and aloes, and they now wrapped the body with bandages saturated with these solutions. When the embalming was completed, they tied a napkin about the face, wrapped the body in a linen sheet, and reverently placed it on a shelf in the tomb." http://www.theub.org/part-iv.html#P188_1_4

"In the recess of stone where they had laid Jesus, Mary saw only the folded napkin* where his head had rested and the bandages wherewith he had been wrapped lying intact and as they had rested on the stone before the celestial hosts removed the body. The covering sheet lay at the foot of the burial niche." http://www.theub.org/part-iv.html#P189_4_6

* Re: https://www.citizen-times.com/story/lif ... 100612470/
"For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I’m finished.' But if the master got up from the table, folded his napkin and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because the folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!' " :roll

:study: A study of the paint allegedly used to create image ...

Re: https://www.mccroneinstitute.org/v/64/t ... d-of-turin
"McCrone postulated that the Shroud was painted in 1355."

"The faint sepia image is made up of billions of submicron pigment particles (red ochre and vermilion) in a collagen tempera medium.
The pigments red ochre and vermilion with the collagen tempera medium was a common paint composition during the 14th century;
before which, no one had ever heard of the Shroud." :o

"image was painted twice — once with red ochre, followed by vermilion to enhance the blood-image areas."

:scratch: If the Shroud is artistic creation using sepia paint ...

"Common paint composition during the 14th century" is a clue that the Shroud is artistic representation of Jesus' second linen sheet
(viewers would recognize the paint and that it was not blood). Perhaps, it was first displayed as art, then acquired the reputation
that it was the actual Shroud. At least, it's easier to prove that it's art than it's intentional misrepresentation. ;)

Re: The benefits of reading the Urantia Book

:study: Re: https://iai.tv/articles/the-big-bang-di ... -auid-2215
"The Big Bang didn't happen" :shock:

"if the Big Bang hypothesis is thrown out, the evolution of the cosmos and the phenomena that we observe today, like the cosmic microwave background, can be explained using the physical processes we observe in the laboratory — especially the electromagnetic processes of plasmas. Plasma is the electrically conducting gas that makes up nearly all the matter that we see in space, in the stars and in space between stars."

:idea: Tossing the Big Bang hypothesis promises future discovery of universe creation, but conceptualizing intelligent manipulations of space-force and primordial energies seems a mighty leap across the resulting Big Bang vacuum:

"The preuniverse manipulations of space-force and the primordial energies are the work of the Paradise Master Force Organizers; but in the superuniverse domains, when emergent energy becomes responsive to local or linear gravity, they retire in favor of the power directors of the superuniverse concerned." ( http://www.theub.org/part-ii.html#P032_1_1 )

"These power directors function alone in the prematerial and postforce phases of a local universe creation. There is no opportunity for a Creator Son to begin universe organization until the power directors have effected the mobilization of the space-energies sufficiently to provide a material foundation — literal suns and material spheres — for the emerging universe." ( http://www.theub.org/part-ii.html#P032_1_2 )

:study: Re: https://www.uwa.edu.au/study/-/media/Fa ... g-Bang.pdf
"What evidence is there to support the Big Bang theory :?:

Two major scientific discoveries provide strong support for the Big Bang theory:
• Hubble’s discovery in the 1920s of a relationship between a galaxy’s distance from Earth and its speed.
• the discovery in the 1960s of cosmic microwave background radiation."

:idea: Obviously, Hubble's "relationship between a galaxy’s distance from Earth and its speed" conflicts with this UB statement
(measurement from the earth is a weak link in the Big Bang theory):

"The present relationship of your sun and its associated planets, while disclosing many relative and absolute motions in space, tends to convey the impression to astronomic observers that you are comparatively stationary in space, and that the surrounding starry clusters and streams are engaged in outward flight at ever-increasing velocities as your calculations proceed outward in space. But such is not the case.

You fail to recognize the present outward and uniform expansion of the physical creations of all pervaded space. Your own local creation (Nebadon) participates in this movement of universal outward expansion. The entire seven superuniverses participate in the two-billion-year cycles of space respiration along with the outer regions of the master universe." ( http://www.theub.org/part-i.html#P012_4_12 )

:study: Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Web ... _Telescope
"It is deployed in a solar orbit near the Sun–Earth L2 Lagrange point,
about 1.5 million kilometers (930,000 mi) from Earth" :o

:scratch: The JWST may not solve the 12:4.12 problem since it's moving in the same direction as all of Monmatia. ;)

:bana: Computer-assisted pattern analysis hints that the earth can be placed in the center of a sphere
and that, for every possible direction the earth may be traveling, its relationship to red shifts of distant
galaxies might reveal the earth's space respiration position (as well as that of the galaxies). :finger:

:scratch: "Say what ?!" Let AI chew on "space respiration" for a week (or month or year). :roll:

:study: Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubble%27s_law

"Hubble's law, also known as the Hubble–Lemaître law or Lemaître's law, is the observation in physical cosmology that galaxies are moving away from Earth at speeds proportional to their distance. In other words, the farther they are, the faster they are moving away from Earth. The velocity of the galaxies has been determined by their redshift, a shift of the light they emit toward the red end of the visible spectrum."

:idea: Intuitively, this suggests that a galaxy's propulsion increases with distance from earth and this doesn't suggest known science. Therefore, the redshift observation seems inaccurate, IMO. Perhaps, a galaxy's size (quantity of light observed per distance) affects the redshift. Also, multiple suns in orbital motion - not just one sun - are the sources of that observed light. ;)

Thank you for this, Rod. You know I bought and read, Larry Mullin's book, "The History of the Urantia Papers" years ago and even brought it with me to Australia. It was a well researched book with references for anyone wishing to know more about the history of the Urantia book. I couldn't bring all of my book back to the US with me so I asked a friend who also is familiar with the Ubook if he wanted it and sadly he promptly turned me down after having read the infamous Sherman ...." :( I decided to give it to a second hand store in the hopes that it would influence positively other people who might find great support and direction there.

:study: About Chrislam ...

Re: https://www.gotquestions.org/Chrislam.html

"Chrislam is an attempt to syncretize Christianity with Islam. While it began in Nigeria in the 1980s, Chrislamic ideas have spread throughout much of the world. The essential concept of Chrislam is that Christianity and Islam are compatible, that one can be a Christian and a Muslim at the same time. Chrislam is not an actual religion of its own, but a blurring of the differences and distinctions between Christianity and Islam."

"Chrislam ultimately fails because Christianity and Islam are diametrically opposed
on the most important of issues – identity of Jesus Christ." :roll:

"For Christians, the deity of Christ is a non-negotiable" :!:

:idea: A hint that Jesus (Michael) as creator of our local universe will not be a Chrislam belief for a long time!
Even suggesting the UB needs serious religion-independence if it hopes to survive as epochal revelation
claimed therein. After all, such leavening for advanced spirituality need not be the recipe. ;)

:scratch: Later reflection ...

Christianity, by definition (at least, historical development), is the religion about Jesus. Since Jesus did not create Christianity,
it's unlikely (vis-a-vis what's in the UB) that he prefer Christianity be the only religion to promote his pre-Christ teachings. ;)

Re: The benefits of reading the Urantia Book

Post by Amigoo »

"Of all human knowledge, that which is of greatest value is to know the religious life of Jesus and how he lived it." (196:1.3)
"I am the way, the truth, and the life." (21:6.4)

:idea: These quotes suggest that spiritual advancement on Urantia requires a neccesary balance of Jesus and God,
as evidenced by our long training in this Son's universe, before we continue on the path to Paradise. :roll

"When on Urantia, Christ Michael once said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.' And we believe that in eternity the Michaels are literally destined to be 'the way, the truth, and the life,' ever blazing the path for all universe personalities as it leads from supreme divinity through ultimate absonity to eternal deity finality." (21:6.4)

Now "the religious life of Jesus" (196:1.3) as "the way, the truth, and the life" is clarified, for our Master Son certainly knows whereof he speaks, having lived such a life. And the Father cannot "downstep" from such height to provide this mortal guidance, thus delegating his Sons to keep gathering the sheep for grazing in more distant pastures.

:scratch: Seems to me, we've got a lot of munching ahead of us! (Ewe may know about this rambling) ;)

Re: https://mbcpathway.com/2014/12/01/what- ... -chrislam/

:idea: Interestingly, Chrislam is an ongoing movement even if not officially promoted by the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. While this article explains why Chrislam should not be promoted, it leaves "wiggle room" for a similar movement that synthesizes the best of these two major religions.

"There is not a Urantia religion that could not profitably study and assimilate the best of the truths contained in every other faith, for all contain truth. Religionists would do better to borrow the best in their neighbors’ living spiritual faith rather than to denounce the worst in their lingering superstitions and outworn rituals." (UB, 92:7.3)

Re: "New religions cannot be invented; they are either evolved, or else they are suddenly revealed." (UB, 92:7.2)

:scratch: Does not this quote suggest that the UB could at least be the leavening for a new religion?
"Our New Religion" (ONR), pronounced "honor", could be the foundational movement! ;)

:cheers: Furthermore ...

"On the way to the Caspian Sea, Jesus had stopped several days for rest and recuperation at the old Persian city of Urmia on the western shores of Lake Urmia. On the largest of a group of islands situated a short distance offshore near Urmia was located a large building — a lecture amphitheater — dedicated to the 'spirit of religion'." (134:3.1)

:idea: ... now suggesting Our New Spirit of Religion (ONSR) or (ONSOR),
pronounced 'answer' with 'on' for 'an'. 8)

Re: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest ... n-28219168

"Somewhere between three and four million years ago, mankind’s most distant ancestors stopped swinging in trees and started walking on the ground. And now that same process is happening again. Monkey and lemur species that have lived in trees for countless millennia are beginning to spend increasing amounts of time on the forest floor in response to deforestation and climate change." :o

:idea: Interesting theory, but our distant ancestors stopped swinging because of planned human evolution (and unseen spiritual guidance) -
not "in response to deforestation and climate change":

"In the forests man has always deteriorated; human evolution has made progress only in the open and in the higher latitudes. The cold and hunger of the open lands stimulate action, invention, and resourcefulness. While these Andonic tribes were developing the pioneers of the present human race amidst the hardships and privations of these rugged northern climes, their backward cousins were luxuriating in the southern tropical forests of the land of their early common origin." :study: What is religion?

Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion

"Religion is usually defined as a social-cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, morals, beliefs, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, and/or organizations, that generally relates humanity to supernatural, transcendental, and spiritual elements; however, there is no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion."

:idea: The UB notes that whatever religion is today it occurs because of fostering and guidance "from above"
and highlights that revelation is a significant part of this universe plan:

Three Phases of Religion: Evolutionary, Revealed, Morontia (UB, 101:5.10-13)

"Evolutionary religion is the outworking of the endowment of the local universe mind adjutant charged with the creation and fostering of the worship trait in evolving man. Such primitive religions are directly concerned with ethics and morals, the sense of human duty. Such religions are predicated on the assurance of conscience and result in the stabilization of relatively ethical civilizations.

Personally revealed religions are sponsored by the bestowal spirits representing the three persons of the Paradise Trinity and are especially concerned with the expansion of truth. Evolutionary religion drives home to the individual the idea of personal duty; revealed religion lays increasing emphasis on loving, the golden rule.

Evolved religion rests wholly on faith. Revelation has the additional assurance of its expanded presentation of the truths of divinity and reality and the still more valuable testimony of the actual experience which accumulates in consequence of the practical working union of the faith of evolution and the truth of revelation. Such a working union of human faith and divine truth constitutes the possession of a character well on the road to the actual acquirement of a morontial personality.

Evolutionary religion provides only the assurance of faith and the confirmation of conscience; revelatory religion provides the assurance of faith plus the truth of a living experience in the realities of revelation.

The third step in religion, or the third phase of the experience of religion, has to do with the morontia state, the firmer grasp of mota. Increasingly in the morontia progression the truths of revealed religion are expanded; more and more you will know the truth of supreme values, divine goodnesses, universal relationships, eternal realities, and ultimate destinies."

:study: Foundational document of Chrislam ...

"What is the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity?"

Re: https://www.vatican.va/content/francesc ... umana.html
"A Document on Human Fraternity For World Peace and Living Together"

"In the name of God who has created all human beings equal in rights, duties and dignity, and who has called them
to live together as brothers and sisters, to fill the earth and make known the values of goodness, love and peace" :roll

:idea: That Jesus (Michael) is not included in this document hints of great confusion on Urantia if a path to God is promoted that neglects 102:3.14* After all, we cannot advance to the Father's presence without the long journey of increasing perfection provided by Michael's local universe.

* "The Creator Son is the vicegerent personalization of the Universal Father, the divinity co-ordinate of the Eternal Son, and the creative associate of the Infinite Spirit. To our universe and all its inhabited worlds the Sovereign Son is, to all practical intents and purposes, God. He personifies all of the Paradise Deities which evolving mortals can discerningly comprehend. This Son and his Spirit associate are your creator parents. To you, Michael, the Creator Son, is the supreme personality; to you, the Eternal Son is supersupreme — an infinite Deity personality."
(UB, 33:1.4) - http://www.theub.org/part-ii.html#P033_1_4

"while in the earth life of Christ Michael we behold the phenomenon of God’s revealing himself to man."
(UB, 102:3.14) - http://www.theub.org/part-iii.html#P102_3_14

"When Jesus heard Thomas, he answered: 'Thomas, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man goes to the Father except through me.
All who find the Father, first find me. If you know me, you know the way to the Father'."
(UB, 180:3.7) - http://www.theub.org/part-iv.html#P180_3_7

See also: John 14:6 - "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me'."

:sunflower: Concluding perspective ...

Chrislam's Peace on Earth focus complements Jesus' (Michael's) Paradise Ascent focus. 8)

Re: https://bahai-library.com/abdul-baha_so ... _questions
"Some Answered Questions", by Abdu'l-Bahá, 2014

:idea: This book reflects good knowledge of the Bible by the son of the founder of the Bahá'í Faith.
The son describes it as "a new and independent religion with followers in every country." :o

The new Chrislam religion seems to be recent competition to Bahá'í and is pro-Islam, apparently.
However, continuing revelation via the Bahá'í "Manifestations" (basically, the prophets) hint that
the Urantia revelation might be considered the next Manifestation in this religion. 8)

:bana: Today's word play: "United Bahá'í Faith" (aka "UB Faith"), :roll:
synergystic because the UB is a revelation - not a religon. ;)

There's 1 bottle of beer on the wall, 1 bottle of beer,

Discussion about Wilcock's recent three books
and he states "Satan is real". :o

:idea: From UB perspective and 1111Angels commentary,
Satan was real but is no more! However (apparently),
people can still have Satanic beliefs/behaviors. :roll:

:study: Re: https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/14/world/ea ... index.html
"Clues at ancient lake site reveal earliest known cooked meal"

"The shift from eating raw to cooked food was a dramatic turning point in human evolution, and the discovery has suggested prehistoric humans were able to deliberately make fires to cook food at least 780,000 years ago."

"Diet has had a big impact on the evolution of our species. It has been suggested that the consumption of meat in particular contributed to the increase in relative brain size of our early Homo ancestors — but pathogenic bacteria make the consumption of uncooked meat a risky business"

"Cooking, however, kills bacteria and increases energetic value of meat — creating a new, reliable food source for early hominins." 8)

:study: From the UB ( http://www.theub.org/part-iii.html#P063_6 )
Paper 63 - The First Human Family, 6. Onagar — The First Truth Teacher

"As the Andonic dispersion extended, the cultural and spiritual status of the clans retrogressed for nearly ten thousand years until the days of Onagar, who assumed the leadership of these tribes, brought peace among them, and for the first time, led all of them in the worship of the 'Breath Giver to men and animals'." (63:6.1)

"Onagar was born 983,323 years ago (from 1934), and lived to be sixty-nine years of age." (63:6.8 )

"Onagar maintained headquarters on the northern shores of the ancient Mediterranean in the region of the present Caspian Sea at a settlement called Oban ... emissaries of Onagar were the world’s first missionaries; they were also the first human beings to cook meat, the first regularly to use fire in the preparation of food. They cooked flesh on ends of sticks and also on hot stones; later roasted large pieces in the fire" (63:6.7)

:idea: Apparently, Andonites were the first humans to ask "Where's the beef?!"
when arriving at bounteous banquets and barbecues. :roll:
