"Israeli Bankers Pulled $1 Billion from SVB Immediately Before Its Collapse"

:duh The many billions withdrawn from this bank just before its collapse
hints of cooperative effort to cause this collapse ... IMO.

"Splenda may hold key to curing type 1 diabetes and arthritis" :o

"Researchers at the UK Francis Crick Institute found in a study of mice that a super-strength dose of sucralose
reduced levels of T-cells, which is a crucial part of how the body fights illness."

 Excessive reduction of infection fighting T-cells would not be so splendid
... and reduction of foods requiring sweetening may be more promising. ;)

"Harvard longevity researcher, 53, says he de-aged himself by a DECADE"

"A cornerstone of almost all anti-aging plans is exercise." :bounce:

 His nutrition tips are similar to other online suggestions for good health,
but his "Reduce stress and avoid 'jerks' " is more memorable advice. ;)

 See also: https://www.webmd.com/diet/features/is- ... -aging-you
"Is Your Diet Aging You?"

"Go for a Mediterranean-style diet ... Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy,
and lean protein can help fight inflammation and keep you looking your best ...
Eat whole foods closest to their natural state as possible ... Go for variety"
 (not to mention get exercise and stay hydrated ... "they say") ;)

"Longevity doctor, 63, who claims his body is biologically 20 YEARS younger
reveals the five foods he eats every day"

 His picture doesn't suggest 20 years younger ... and various "best foods" being touted
these days hint that what's not being consumed (fast food, junk food, drinks, etc.)
is the real key to youth and health. ;)

"Boeing REFUSES to pay out more money to families of 157 victims of its killer 737-MAX after insisting
the six minute plunge to the ground they suffered does not constitute 'pain and suffering' " :o

 Interesting legal perspective: The living are they who have 'pain and suffering' -
the departed HAD 'pain and suffering' (but apparently no more). ;)

"Loyola professor claims organized pantries are rooted in ‘racist and sexist’ social structures"

"Through her research at Loyola University, Associate Professor of Marketing Jenna Drenten noticed a recent uptick
in what she calls 'pantry porn,' a plethora of social media videos where women show off their fully stocked kitchen
and methodically organized home supplies." :o

 "Pantry porn!"?! Logically, the more stuff in a pantry, the more cleanliness and organization required
to maintain item quality, quantity, and accessibility. Methinks that "creativity porn" is the new trend
where anything is a now good target for new "porn" and racism claims.

Re: https://www.dw.com/en/15-minute-cities- ... a-64907776
"15-minute cities: What are they and how do they work?"

"As recently as a two decades ago, more people lived in the countryside than in urban areas. But that has since changed.
Around 56% of the global population are now at home in cities, and the number continues to rise ... In 2016, Shanghai
announced plans to introduce what it calls '15-minute community life circles,' a plan that would ensure all day-to-day
activities are within 15-minutes walking distance."

 This 15-minute-city concept seems best as goal - not mandate (residents choose if activities offered
are those they desire and if they choose to walk to every activity). Considering the many different
activities in a person's daily life, they could still do a lot of daily walking! ... else the activities
would require a lot duplication to maintain the 15-minute distance to a residence. However,
widely available mass transportation could help solve the walking challenge.

:sunflower: "Simple City" (living with simplicity) is a more doable concept and not so restrictive.
Of course, those who prefer lifestyle complexity would still have this opportunity.

" 'AI Death Panels' Secretly Culling Millions of Elderly Americans Under the Guise of Healthcare"

"As more Americans over 65 and those with disabilities choose these lower premium plans,
Medicare Advantage has become increasingly profitable for insurers, and they’re using
AI death panels to deny care, potentially hastening demise of nation’s sickest patients." :o

 Apparently, the hidden gotcha of a lower premium plan (AI will begin deciding
if an out-of-plan treatment is appropriate, considering one's age, disability, etc.).
And with increasing public support of AI, this will become acceptable in a society.
Apparently, it's wise to stay healthier longer to avoid this AI Reaper. ;)

:bana: On the other hand ...

If denied treatment, how do you perceive the rest of your life: AM or PM :?:
If AM, consult Alternative Medicine AI for other possible solutions/cures.
If PM, stay with Primary Medicine's recommendations.

"UK MP made a speech in Parliament about vax harms.
YouTube pulls it straight away" :o

 Interestingly, the content of this speech is less important
than knowing that online sources now control information
more than we might prefer ... and for various reasons.

So, no longer depend on a few sources for information
... apparently! ;)

"(U.S.) Fruits and vegetables with the most and least pesticides"

"More than 90 percent of samples of strawberries, apples, cherries, spinach, nectarines and grapes had at least two pesticides on them ...
Over 50 pesticides were detected on every kind of crop on the dirty dozen list, apart from cherries." :o

:study: See also: https://portal.ct.gov/CAES/Fact-Sheets/ ... om-Produce
"Removal of Trace Pesticide Residues from Produce"

"The majority of pesticide residue appears to reside on the surface of produce where it is removed by the mechanical action of rinsing ... There is little or no difference between tap water rinsing or using a fruit and vegetable wash in reducing residues of the nine pesticides studied ... (however), the removal of waxes and/or dirt from the produce was not examined as part of this study."

"The mechanical action of rubbing the produce under tap water is likely responsible for removing pesticide residues. Mild detergents or fruit and vegetable washes do not enhance the removal of pesticide residues from produce above that of rinsing with tap water alone."

 "Rubbing" is typical action when a detergent is used for any cleaning,
so Rub 'n Rinse your veggies, especially if peel/skin will be consumed ...
or buy organic (but still wash to be certain). ;)

"What the International Criminal Court 'arrest warrant’ means for Putin"

"While 123 states have signed the Rome Statute, 41 have not – including China, India, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
Besides Russia, Israel, Sudan and the US have also withdrawn their signatures. The US Congress even passed a law in 2002
prohibiting any cooperation with the court and authorizing 'all means necessary and appropriate' to release any American –
or national of an allied country – from the Hague, by military force if necessary." :o

Note: "Türkiye" is now this country's preferred spelling. ;)

 Political commentary but informative about current ICC status.

"What happens when your chatbot stops loving you back"

 Entertaining use of AI and hints that an alter ego chatbot would have value, such as exploring
where you don't currently dare go (at least in virtual space). This story also highlights how AI development
is so human controlled, thus suggesting due diligence about AI information and advice. In fact, such stories
seem to predict that, in the future, a personal AI chaperone may be needed to safeguard one's exploration
in some digital neighborhoods.

"As more (U.S.) states seek ban on trans women competing in women's sports, experts insist
the 'undeniable' physical advantage CAN'T be undone by gender-affirming care" :o

" 'The most important thing is whether or not you have benefited from male development and male puberty
and if you've done that, you're going to have advantages you cannot undo later.' Supporters of inclusion
for trans women argue that a sustained course of gender-affirming care to suppress testosterone levels
eliminates the advantage. But Lundberg's landmark 2021 study with Emma Hilton, developmental biologist
at the University of Manchester in the UK, disputes that."

 Apparenlty, gender physiology is more than physical appearance and hormones.

"Prince Harry's charity partners believe boyhood should be 'fluid' as it aims to destroy the phrase 'boys will be boys' "

"The initiative 'promotes gender equity by fostering positive masculinity' ...
Global Boyhood also argues that parents can 'gender' their unborn children"

 "Genderize" is more accurate - X,Y chomosomes (and resulting physical biology)
have not yet changed with any attempt to foster fluidity (or whatever) ...
not to mention that brain wiring makes physical biology functional. ;)
