Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... party.html

"Hundreds of teens storm Chicago streets for impromptu spring party
featuring drinking, boxing matches and twerking contests" :bounce:

 Space aliens observing earth's mammals for the first time
would quickly learn that twerking is characteristic of humans,
the evolutionary superior animal; superiority also evidenced
by humans having created poles on which to "dance".

 Whereas animal males typically make the greater effort
to attract females, human females seem to make greater effort
to attract human males ... apparently. :?

but might still give evidence of the early days of "new & improved" earthlings (once "humans").

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... waves.html
"New battery-powered sub has room for 120 revellers to party for 24 hours under the waves"

 Probably too early to promote "battery-powered" when we're still transitioning to
reliable, modern batteries. And 1600/120+ (3.6 ft sq) per guest is not so spacious :!:

Best guess: Use a model to film the experience, then create it above water
on a floating barge (or whatever). Let investors vote for the real deal
with their bitcoin (or whatever "stable" currency exists then).

 Unless guests see interesting scenes clearly underwater,
they might not be convinced they're where they should be. ;)

 A smart phone app that displays current weight on bridge (relative to maximum permitted) might add to the adrenaline.

Re: https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/15/politics ... index.html

" 'I believe life begins at conception, and those are babies too,' Ricketts told CNN’s Dana Bash on 'State of the Union'
when asked if he thought the state should require a young girl who was raped to carry the pregnancy to term"

 Such rape is theft of a woman's egg since conception does not occur until a sperm enters therein ...
and that usually when permitted by the woman. This rape effectively becomes crime forgiven by the state.
In fairness even to God, life should not be a gift of crime; the woman - not state - should lead resolution :!:

Apparently, the holiness of conception occurs only after the man and the woman,
by freewill choice, permit that conception ... since man is the keeper of sperm
and woman keeper of the eggs ... as God intended ... apparently. ;)

Rape suggests unplanned conception which often predicts
poor quality of child nurturing, however opportunity
for the state to provide assistance (which could
help persuade a pro-life choice by the woman). 8)

"A local nonprofit organization is hosting an event for LGBTQ youth in Naples, Florida,
on Saturday that will feature a drag show at a church." :o

 Presumably, a safe place to explore how to be the opposite sex
with exaggerated mannerisms, clothing, etc. ... presumably,
to be entertaining and well noticed as that opposite sex.

 Interestingly (from perspective of "drag show"),
"gay" is inclusive of "homosexual" but "homosexual"
is not necessarily "gay" ... apparently. ;)

"(U.S.) Fairfax Schools May Expel Elementary Students For ‘Misgendering’ People"

 Apparently (and because preferred gender may neither be obvious nor permanent), children need visual identification for their peers (and teachers) to address them correctly. Without such visual identification, children should be "held harmless" at least until properly instructed and tested about EVERY non-obvious classmate.

More technically advanced schools could give students smart phones with an app for gender identification via child's picture in the school database. Or visual ID could be a personal QR Code (not that 'Q') by which the phone could automatically announce preferred gender. 8)

Re: https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/q ... y-lipstick
"Queen makes a bold statement with top secret lipstick"

"At the end of a luncheon or a dinner, even a banquet set with silver gilt and antique porcelain,
she has the somewhat outré habit of opening her bag, pulling out a compact and reapplying her lipstick" :o

(Oxford Languages) ou·tré - "unusual and startling"

 Considering lipstick now worn by various genders,
Outré itself could be a line of cosmetics ...
whereupon reapplication becomes Outré Redux
... that could also be a line of cosmetics! :roll

Then reapplication of Outré Redux becomes
... a Faux Pas as mentioned herein ...
yet could be a line of cosmetics! 8)

But I digress.

Re: https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/17/us/teen- ... index.html
"A teenager in Utah died after a tunnel he was digging in a sand dune collapsed" :(

 Even a deep hole in the ground can collapse without wall support!

Rule of thumb: The easier the digging, the more likely a collapse,
but a "fugetaboutit" hole in the ground is the better project. ;)

:( Re: https://www.fox5ny.com/news/toms-river- ... en-trapped

"Two teenage siblings were buried in the sand at a (U.S. New Jersey) Shore beach
when the hole they were digging caved in on them" :o

:( Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... ments.html

"Parents of Maine teen, 18, who was killed when 10ft sand hole he dug collapsed:
'All our days are numbered... he knew that' "

:hithere Interestingly, this can be reworded to a meaningful truism:
"All our days are numbered by the holes and depths that we dig for ourselves." ;)

:bana: Grammar point (apparently) ...

Like WTF, WFH is an abbreviation but not acronym
since WFH cannot be pronounced. Interestingly,
WFH has good pairing potential with WTF ...
which should not be pronounced.

Re: https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/17/india/in ... index.html
"Indian couple sue only son for not giving them grandchildren" :o

"the couple claim they spent about 20 million Indian rupees (about $257,000) raising their son, who is an only child. They raised him, educated him, made him capable, made him a pilot ... this kind of lawsuit is rare, the topic of familial obligation has long been controversial in India, where carrying on the family line and caring for elderly parents and in-laws is often seen as a filial duty."

 Maybe the son can sue his parents for not giving him siblings for normal childhood socialization (where parenting skills and benefits are observed). Ultimately, it may be necessary to prove the son agreed to this contract (enriched raising in exchange for grandchildren).

"Taylor Hawkins's friends blast Rolling Stone report that Foo Fighters drummer was pushed to exhaustion"

“There’s only a handful of guys in our profession that still play this intense, high-energy ‘90s rock music,” Cameron explained to Rolling Stone.

“We both had to strike that balance of ‘we never want to complain,’ but there are real, specific things about what we do that’s really f***ing challenging and really difficult. … It’s like we have to be able to sort of run a marathon every time we hit the stage, just because the music sort of calls for that type of energy.”

 According to this perspective, the media reports of his drug use (even if true)
suggest why they were needed to deliver three-hour, high-intensity performances
... at age 50!

consumed protein is just concentrated amino acids ...

according to some of the reports from last year that were confirmed this year as well. The release is scheduled
to begin this year if the Nuclear Regulator Authority gives its final go-ahead to Tepco."

but first diluting it ... yet all the bleach still goes into the washer!
