Reading a photo

Post by Heavensabove »

Hi all,

First of all I was wondering if anyone is able to read images in a photo, and secondly recommend a way that I can get that photo to them as I know I can't post a photo here.
I had the photo read today by a medium and she was astounded as to what she saw.
There is so much going on in this photo, I would be interested in other opinions.
TIA

Hi,

You need to host the image somewhere on the web and link to it. We used to have code that displayed it automatically but I think thats broken. I know the "display video" is busted because I tried it yesterday. But I would try the button that encloses the link with

Code: Select all

[img][/img]
Might work.

Hey Shane,

Thanks for working so hard to allow us to see your photo. I'm pleased that it is up and running. You know, I am not seeing the small finger I noticed this morning. Weird. Maybe in the morning light I'll be able to see clearly tomorrow. (a magnifying glass might help too. :) )

I wonder sometimes what would have showed up of a photo taken of me in the kitchen when I first came here 14 years ago. We had to be so careful with money and sort of ate on a shoestring. There could be no waste so I was always amazed at the ways I found to combine foods and items we had in the pantry to make yummy meals. I couldn't believe sometimes that I did it on my own..almost like I had help and could do no wrong. I wish I had known Kim's Mom's solution back then which was to throw all the weekly leftovers in a pot and make soup out of them...Not bad... been trying it as I can't abide waste in a world where so many are hungry.

Anyway I have sort of drifted off subject...one reason we talk and post on the secret thread where we can chat about our hearts content without worries of wrong subject.

It is almost time for bed. Good night Shane and all in the Southern hemi and for all of you just beginning your day, hope it's a great one!

I'm no psychic but my gut feeling is a gentle and comforting vibe. It's a really nice photo, the sun with the smoke interplay is awesome. The food looks great and it also looks like your mind might be somewhere else, maybe some heavy feelings or thinking on a loved one? Or maybe some far reaching thoughts causing you to go deep... ?

If you tell me you were just solely focused on cooking some awesome food that's cool, I'm hungry.

Yes Eric my mind was definitely somewhere else. Cooking for me is like a type of meditation. It allows me to think quite deep, I really get in the zone. I hope you can see it enlarged as there is so much happening. So many faces.
Another thing that stuns me about this is that not a wiff of smoke behind me, it's all in front of me.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it.

Cheers,
Shane.

I would like to thank everyone who has tried to assist me on this.

I have stopped taking photos now, but have had some amazing results as you will see with the links to Reddit below.
A couple of images even look like black & White photos.

No.2 - A child? - Left hand side of the picture shows what I believe half an image (like a photo) of a child

No.3 - Looks like someone smiling back.

There's some nice images there, Shane! 8)

Number 1. I see what looks like a young girl lower right. Or is that the soldier? I see her hair and everything. LOL my eyesight is suspect though. I struggle seeing the details sometimes due to these old eyes of mine.

Was number three taken from a lower vantage point looking up past the grill and smoke into a starry moonlit night?

I see a piece of the universe and nebula when I view it as well. :sunflower:

Seems the longer you look the more you see. The camera finds what we miss. :sunflower:
Thanks Shane for allowing us to view them.

Hi Sandy,
All of these have come from a larger photos. - 3 different photos

I zoomed in after looking at them on the computer.
I then cropped them to show only the images you see now. Quite a painstaking process but quite amazing results I think.

Everything has come from BBQ steam - ie pouring cold water onto a hot bbq plate. Best way to clean a bbq.

Cheers,
Shane

Hi Sandy,
This one was taken around the same time.

To give you an idea, here is a shot of the BBQ being cleaned.
This one gave off an interesting shape of light.

Also I'm sure if you can enlarge it you may see other things.

Hi Shane,

I've noticed that the longer I give myself to observe the photo without trying too hard, the more I see...I just wish my eyes were stronger.
My eldest sister and I were talking last night and we decided that we would love to have a smallish magnifying glass hanging like a necklace around or necks with our grand kids birth stones surrounding it. LOL

I must remember the cold water thing...should work on a messy skillet too, eh?

Thanks again for sharing another thought provoking image. 8)

Hi Shane,
Happened to be listening to Open Doors by Secret Garden when viewing the latest photo. My first impression was of slow movement, contentment, seeing a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Hi Sandy,
I know what you mean.
Thank goodness for the computer to be able to zoom in.

And yes, would definitely work on a messy skillet.
Just clean any debris then get it very hot and clean with cold water.

This is another one I've just discovered that I took about a month ago.
To me looks like someone in the middle of this photo poking their tongue out.

Also a couple of other faces on the left hand side.

Well I was looking at my original photo at the bbq of which some of you have seen and I have found a few new images. here is one. To me it looks like a woman looking down or out a window. What do you think? This is an extreme zoom in of the left hand side of that original photo.

And another one from the same photo. My Mother in law? I can see two people here, facing each other. I believe the one on the right next to the tree is my mother in law and to me it looks like she is facing someone dressed in something similar to a nun. This is also zoomed in from my original bbq photo. Stand back a bit when viewing this for the best effect.

Hi Shane,

 I see them ! Yeah! That doesn't always happen for me. It's amazing really. You will laugh but I just saw an Aladdin style lamp on the sticking your tongue out one. Right in the middle just above the grill.
It does help to relax your vision a bit and stand back, if anyone is having trouble. Of course, if I stand too far back I can't even see the screen. LOL

Nice to enjoy a little bit of wonder in the middle of the day. :sunflower:
