Dark Night Of The Soul/Crossing The Abyss

Plenty of those(if not all),who are seeking to advance spiritually,eventually will reach this stage.. From my own experience it is the stage of confronting your fears,while you are pushed to your limits. And it is one of the roles of the guardian angel.
I mean if it is part of your fate pattern,i really doubt if the angel will anounce the forthcoming event.. He will just observe your suffering, ensuring that you'll stay in one piece (again IF it was meant to be this way),interacting ONLY when it's needed..

Maybe this phase has other definitions as well (universe testing,subconsious vomiting,shadow self)etc,but at the very end it is the same ugly thing...

Or maybe not..
Who can tell for sure what is what?
You face the experience,and then you try to find out what is it...
It really sucks.

We all struggle. And we have been promised by the saints a very trying 2025-2026. But lately my hope, is to see everything from an opportunistic lens. If something upsets you, consider it a chance for self inquiry and use this practice in awareness to move through whatever it is with faith, love, patience, gentleness... We were also promised these times would be a way to grow our faith and relationship with God.

Don't worry about how you should be. Just recognize what you want out of all of it. Even if we fall, we fall in the arms of Love.

Like growing pangs for the evolving personality with relation to the soul.


Having faith in a loving god(a living, guiding intelligence) with gratitude for all that has happened to me and making efforts to align my will with my deepest desire has been a transcendental practice.

But it is a practice, knowing there are off days and time needed to process/assimilate/shape...
It's a learning process. We are learning our true nature, what we really want, who or what we really are.

What ever it is you're going through, you are not alone. Remember God loves you. Seek Him in all things and you will surely see the light and feel the splendors of the Soul. I pray this reality into your existence.

In my case,my suffering changed me big time.. I see things through less filters,which means there is more truth..
Ok..i get the point... I asked for it anyway...

But it's not pleasant at all...

Thanks for bringing this up, Dron. I was just thinking about this exact thing over the past two weeks. It has been hard and really digging in and figuring out what I've been harbouring within has brought up some harsh things to deal with... but I think in my case it is finally easing a bit. And I must say it was much needed even if it was painful. Reading what Eric wrote to you helps me to breathe a little easier and remember what is important, what I desire with all my heart. Thank's Eric.

From your words, dron, it seems you too are finding the way through it. That is good to know. I guess we all have to do it on our own and at the end, may we be better, for the experience.
