Paper 4, Nature

I was listening to the UBook this morning. I don't necessarily believe everything in the UB. I acknowledge that it could be my limited understanding. I also consider that the UB may not be an ultimate authority. But I attend the study groups with great enthusiasm for our fellowship.
That being said, the UBook seems to imply nature is not worthy of worship. I disagree, believing everything is Of God. But the UB also says God is everything but everything is not God.
I don't like the discord between Pagans and Christians, I believe nature is a personality incarnate and helps shape us.
I have more to comment but I am at work and wonder if someone more versed in the UB would be willing to share their thoughts on Nature and whether or not it deserves reverence.
My Sufi teacher says understanding nature is like reading the Bible.

God is all and in all, but all is not God because God is the Source of all and therefore greater than all.
The UB does give good reasons for why nature is not worthy of worship. Just because God pervades all, doesn’t mean he is personally present in all. He is personally present on Paradise. And the degree of God’s presence in humans is related to the degree to which we cooperate with our TAs.
Nature is the stage upon which our universe experiences are played out. We can certainly admire nature for its beauty. We can appreciate the goodness which comes forth from natural resources. We can even glimpse the Truth of God through his creation. But we are told that worship is to be reserved for the Creator, not the creation.
Worship is actually a big deal to celestials. But mortal man is very largely ignorant of the divine order. We have been known to worship many things and beings. But as we evolve spiritually we learn to worship the Source of all these things and beings. God desires our worship be directed to him personally.
There seems to be discord between many religious belief systems, not just pagans and Christians. Paganism is evolutional religion. Christianity is a mixture of revealed and evolutional religion. The UB is revelation. We can accept it as such or cling to evolutional beliefs since we all have free will. But I would suggest focusing on commonalities if fellowship is what you truly desire.

Very well stated Jon! Thank you for taking the time and participating on the forum. I am glad you would entertain my questions as I learn the UB with you and others.

Let there be no doubt!
I desire GOD.
I hope you can *feel/*intuit my interest in fellowship by my presence on zoom!
While I have not accepted the UB as an ultimate authority, it was my Sufi teacher who taught me the wisdom in finding what Unites us.
No matter the path, I have found influential figures who point us "Godward." I have even experienced telepathic lessons from a Spider about communication with God. I have also felt the presence of a Master coming from a stone.
I have Faith all are learning as intended and dancing intimately with the Lord.
Whether we realize it or not.
See you Friday!

Hi Eric,
It’s not for me to doubt anyone. The desire for God is wholly a personal matter for each of us. I am reminded of the following UB passage:
99:5.7 (1091.6)Just as certainly as men share their religious beliefs, they create a religious group of some sort which eventually creates common goals. Someday religionists will get together and actually effect co-operation on the basis of unity of ideals and purposes rather than attempting to do so on the basis of psychological opinions and theological beliefs. Goals rather than creeds should unify religionists. Since true religion is a matter of personal spiritual experience, it is inevitable that each individual religionist must have his own and personal interpretation of the realization of that spiritual experience. Let the term “faith” stand for the individual’s relation to God rather than for the creedal formulation of what some group of mortals have been able to agree upon as a common religious attitude. “Have you faith? Then have it to yourself.”
Thank you for your question and I’m glad I was able to shed some light on the matter for you. I’m not sure if the UB claims ultimate authority, but I find it to be enlightening nonetheless.
See you Friday.

Absolutely, it is fascinating and I am still attempting to grasp the concepts and see how it fits in my current frame and attitudes. I believe we are here at this point in time, learning the UB together for a reason.
I especially like this quote you've provided. To be united in the goal- not necessarily the individuals current level of understanding. I will share it with others as we are presently engaged in discussing the attributes of God.
The goal is to Know God. To Seek God. And if all peoples are united by that, vs worrying about whose philosophy is superior or whose ideas "sound better" .... What a world this would be!

Good morning everyone,
I was thinking about "Ultimate Authority" and I suspect that would be only attributed to the Source of all. always.
We are only given so much information until we are ready and able to understand more. So there may come a time when our understanding will make such things as the Ubook and other sources of spiritual enlightenment obsolete... as we can grasp greater meanings attributed to God and Paradise from new and ever more enlightened ways.
But this conversation between Jon and Eric has me thinking. I would just like to say that there are spiritual giants among the Pagan religions. Because they recognize the energies and God's influence in nature, they produce amazing results in healing. The best healer I ever knew ( and I have known a lot of great healers) was of a combination pagan religion. They are tuned into the natural energies around us as well as the divine energies... and use them with source energy to create solutions for themselves and others, healing being one of them. They search for connections with the divine just like we do...just like all religions and spiritual groups do with amazing success. I believe we are all on equal footing in these times with the adjudication of Lucifer the circuits are reopened and communication with our divine cousins becoming easier. The veil is lifting and we are all children of God searching for the Source of the love we feel from the heavens and from within.
I see nature as God's palette. His divine children (Creator Sons) design and create beautiful amazing worlds and us... it is the thinking that somehow we are elite, and everything is created for our benefit which causes such gross abuses of the natural world at our hands. Creatures and even plants are living entities with wisdom they can share with us if we will only get off our human "high horse." We have been gifted with personality, something unique to us, according to the Ubook...But we did evolve from, in the early days, a frog. So what does that say about perhaps the reverence, or maybe "value" would be a better word, the celestials may place on all planetary life and their future attributes? I guess I say this as I would like for us to consider the value of things misunderstood and perhaps even vilified by the Christian faith of old because of a need to consolidate power and control over the masses. God gives us many differing tools to grow, enlighten, support, and sustain life here. We choose what best works for us.
Learning about other's choices on all levels of planetary life with openness, love, and willingness to understand may heal our world someday.
Man that is a tall order. LOL
Hope everyone is having a great week!
xxSandy

Hi my friend Sandy! *BIG SMILE*
I agree, and so there isn't much more for me to add. I've learned moreso to recognize the bond in the pursuit of God than to scrutinize the unique way an individual interacts with and experiences God.
And as a result, this world is full of joy and mystery.
What a shame there is no frog emoji to end this post with... So I will give you a nice *RIBBITTT* and look forward to seeing you soon!
Wishing you a blessed and beautiful energy!
