"it was in a time of great anticipation and unrest" is half blocked by the window of text complementing the audio. A second picture without the "it was ..." could be displayed as the audio starts.

Good point! It does go away but the captions enrich the experience. 8)

I believe the viewing "problem" is that there is no movement on the screen with just audio (the picture does not change for the long reading).

i see! watching the video again, I completely agree movement should make it more interesting.
