There's a meteor shower, the Draconid Meteor Shower, tonight just after nightfall.
Here is a little information for those who wish to do a little star gazing tonight.

LOL I missed it too... Mom went to bed rather late and I didn't dare take her out in the dark.
There will be other beautiful skies in our lifetime, eh?

awhhh Thanks for that... You can see it was early in the evening when the photo was snapped as you still see a tiny bit of light in the western sky. It is so beautiful.
