Dear Lord,
Let us share with our friends and family this holiday season,
Now and then.
Let our presence be the gift, and let us holdfast to your Love-
Let the smiles and nostalgic memories in our minds eye
Carry us into the present...
Bless those we love, bless those we do not understand.
Keep the homelss warm,
By your compassion-
Bless the foods we wish to share and bless the intention to share even moreso.
Thank you for the animals and plants, please carry their Souls back Home.
Thank you for the nourishment and thank you for your Guidance.
Help us alleviate suffering
By kind action and gentle demeanor
Thank you for friends and family.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Amen. . .
Happy Thanksgiving

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Eric,
That was a very special prayer of gratitude. I have been thinking much about gratitude the past few weeks, for despite loss, despite change, despite insecurities, oh my, there is so much to be grateful for.
Thank you my friend for sharing this poem that I will return too frequently during this season of love and gratitude. I pray it carries us throughout the years of our lives.
xxSandy

I agree Sandy, there's so much to be grateful for. God is the ultimate partner, and it makes walking this life all the more interesting.
