Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

You would chuckle if you could see me. I am sitting on my living room couch with a chicken (yes I said a living breathing chicken) on my lap as I awkwardly type a message. She has gotten spoiled, and so when she is feeling a bit lonely she squawks and so as not to annoy the neighbours I give her what she wants. sigh. Chickens really are sweet lovely birds. A bit smelly, at least Sadie, my elderly chicken is) but sweet. It is cool and rainy here today and I think she needed some comfort. Don't we all at times eh?

Hope where ever you sit tonight, still Thanksgiving in some places... You are peaceful, contented at home within yourself.

Hey this is extremely belated but worth it. A friend sent me a Jacquie Lawson Thanksgiving 'card'. The art is so sophistically crude I've been entranced by it's joyfulness and watched it a dozen times or so.
