Prayers for George

Good Morning 1111 family,
Please pray for George as he has a procedure done today to remove a large kidney stone. It is listed as an out patient day surgery, but there is a chance he may stay in the hospital over night. Any help to improve his health and ease his recovery would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
with Love,
Sandy

Thanks Kim and everyone who prayed for my George. ,
The doctors decided to keep George overnight. That's probably a good thing. But unfortunately he may very well still have the pesky stone. They ran into something unforeseen so hopefully tomorrow I will learn more after we hear from the doctors.
The good news, though, is that George looks better then he has for a long time.
So please continue to keep him in your prayers.
Thank s again!
Love you guys,
Sandy

Hi guys,
George is home from the hospital and slowly improving. He will need more outpatient surgery as they couldn't get to the stones at this time. I have filed the admission forms so hopefully we will hear something soon about a new date for the surgeries. I thank you for your prayers. They really do help and he has improved throughout the day. He is very tired and worn out from the hub bub, though...but sleep is probably the best thing for him as he heals.
He is in pretty good spirits considering. He spoke with Geoff earlier this afternoon and that really lifted his spirits.
I thank all of you for being there for us both.
You are so loved!
Sandy

Thank you Rod,
The site you posted has some great information.
I really appreciate the good wishes and the time you took to find the website for us.
The doctors are planning on breaking the stones into something passable with a laser...hopefully in a few weeks. I think much more water will be on our menu in the future.
xxSandy

Sandy,
Five years ago, I caught a cold that lasted a month! (most colds 2-3 weeks).
Then, morning coffee didn't taste good so I drank hot green tea:
1 tea bag per 1 1/2 cups water (a mug). Long story short:
This then became a daily habit (coffee later after tea).
This morning hydration and green tea nutrition
seems to be a very positive lifestyle change!

Hi guys,
A bag of green tea is added to what ever other flavor of tea I'm making. All the other herbs I grow myself, but buy the organic green tea. Tastes great with everything! And you're right Rod, it helps make water more palatable and accessible to those who aren't crazy about the taste of straight water.

Iβm praying for you George
. Feel better soon.
I tried to send you a private message Sandy, but it said you donβt exist. I have a difficult time getting around this site it seems. Maybe you can send me a message and I can respond to it.
Love to you both

Thank you for the green tea tip, Rod and Kim. I picked up some matcha green tea with fennel and nettle. George surprised me...(in fact I am still tripping over my jaw
) by not complaining and even enjoying it.
He has been lots more adventurous lately.
Case in point...
Tonight I juiced 2/5 of the raw Pumpkin we grew ( No it isn't an orange one it is called a Jap Pumpkin and is a little sweeter then our gorgeous orange ones.) with 2 large pink lady apples. It tasted awesome. We didn't drink much at one time, though, because of the natural sugar load. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The recipe called for a dash of cinnamon and a bit of ginger (the root which would have been good for his health, but of course we didn't have the ginger. ) It tasted so good as it was we didn't add anything else.

Hi Ruth
Sorry about the trouble. I wonder why it said I didn't exist.
Did you capitalise the S in my name? I think the board is case sensitive. I'll send you a pm just to be on the safe side.
Thank you for the prayers for our George. He is very tired these days and his lungs seem a little congested today. Please keep him in your prayers.
I am eternally grateful for all of you!

HI everyone,
George is scheduled for surgery to remove one of the kidney stones on the 29th. Please send him loving healing light as he's endured so much.
Hopefully this will help reduce his pain considerably. Please include Sandy in your prayers also, as she suffers right along side of him.
Love, peace, and courage my friends

(((((((Ruth)))))) ((((((((Kim)))))))
George is home tonight which I am glad, but he did not have his stone removed. The doctors were worried that he may have been taking pradaxa, a blood thinner. He hasn't taken it since May and I did not record it in his medication chart that you give to the hospital before the surgery. Unfortunately, George got confused an couldn't remember what that medicine was when they asked him. and for some reason I wasn't consulted. So it is another admission form to turn in...two of them eventually, and here we go again. They did put him under anaesthetics to put a stint in his left kidney and bladder.
Soooo tonight we are wondering if he will ever get rid of these stones. sigh. But both of us are glad to be together tonight. Maybe next time, eh?
Thanks for the prayers. We never know the series of outworking/ripples when we pray.
Ruth, I will definitely give George a hug for you when he wakes up.(which hopefully is soon. He needs to eat. )
xxSandy

Thank you Ruth.
George, bless him, now has two stents one in each kidney. I filed the readmission form today so I hope it will not be long before we have a new date set for surgery. It will probably be several weeks at the earliest. I hope your son-in-law soon gets rid of that pesky stone. Wouldn't it be nice if it would just disappear.
How are you feeling? Hows the ole knee? Sadly, I know you know a great deal about pain, don't you? We're thinking of you and praying for healing. Hang in there.
love,
Sandy
