Pavithra is one of my favorite poet/essay/short story authors. I simply think her use of language is wonderful and her mind is sublime. With that pitch here is a lovely little piece especially for the gardeners among us.

Beautiful, Welles! It makes me long to go wallow in the long grasses. (wonder if the ants are out and about yet this winter ????
They are tiny but back a bit of a pit bull kind of tenacious bite. LOL)
Ah but nature is worth such hazards don't you think? So away I go to observe nature's magic for myself.
