This little essay is on the nature of belief and the laws that govern the universe. I was reminded of one of my favorite quotes of all time by Philip K. Dick who said...

"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away."

A snippet from the essay...

I believe that it doesn't matter if you think hatred and resentment can sustain you. It will ultimately eat you up, because that is a universal law of nature. I believe that it doesn't matter if you think that love is sappy and weak. Cultivating love will fulfill you and help you achieve your potential, because that is a universal law of nature. I believe that it doesn't matter if you don't trust in the laws of interdependence, what happens to me directly will affect you in some way, because it is a universal law of nature.

It is correct that Spiritual Laws work regardless of "belief". But belief is not faith, and "faith" is a very different and important concept in reaching the Kingdom.

On the other hand, belief is extremely powerful, powerful enough to create Osiris and have "it" be perceived as "god" to those that "believe." This is because mind can create. So, perception can fool itself regarding "reality."
