:study: Re: https://www.busymommymedia.com/depression-era-bread/

"This Depression Era Bread recipe can be made with only 3 ingredients
and the end result is a delicious loaf of bread that tastes amazing!"

 Often lost in simple bread recipes is that nutrition is minimal -
consuming the whole grain is better! But if you have flour ...

 (IMO) "Bread", once necessity for easy storage,
is more habit now than a nutritional requirement.
For serious survival, consider all the ways
that grains (not flour) can be consumed. ;)

"A Brooklyn-based art collective is launching a line of chips with flavor inspired by foods banned in the United States in its latest artistic statement on food production and consumption norms. Flavors include horse meat, fugu (poison blowfish), casu marzu (maggot cheese)."

 "Casu marzu" is puzzling - this sounds like a storage creation
(like storing regular chips with used sportswear in a locker,
but "Shoe Fly Pie" should be a popular dessert flavor). :roll

:o Now, "Winnie the Pooh" comes to mind ...
but unimaginable flavor!

"The Human Microbiome: A New Frontier in Health"

"Susan Lynch, PhD, explains that the human microbiome develops early in life
and that gut microbes shape immune function and relate to disease outcomes" :o

 Her discussion about perturbations in the gut microbiome is fascinating ... if you're health science minded. Good info in case you're a fecal donor or recipient some day. ;) Just imagine! Freeze-dried fecal capsules are now being tested! Bottom line (IMO): Improvement of the human gut microbiome - not pharmaceutical intervention - may resolve pandemics and reduce human disease. This lecture also suggests that current "expert" intervention in disease is not very expert, relative to the functions of the human microbiome; in fact, intervention that may reduce the functionality of the microbiome and even reduce natural immunity to disease :!:

Re: https://www.foxnews.com/us/wisconsin-pa ... oun-policy
"(USA) Wisconsin parents sue school district over gender pronoun policy"

"A group of parents sued a Wisconsin school district on Wednesday over a policy that allows students to change their names and gender pronoun preference without their parents’ consent while they’re at school ... The parents claimed the school had violated their constitutional rights because parents have an 'inherent right' to be the primary decision-makers in their children’s lives."

 Important pushback involving parental rights and responsibilities! Perhaps, the beginning of parental rescue of children who unwisely proclaim "Call me Ishmael" and then secure the guidance and support of "the system".

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishmael_(Moby-Dick)

"The Biblical name Ishmael has come to symbolize orphans, exiles, and social outcasts. By contrast with his namesake from the Book of Genesis, who is banished into the desert, Melville's Ishmael wanders upon the sea. Each Ishmael, however, experiences a miraculous rescue; in the Bible from thirst, here from drowning." 8)

Re: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nat ... 603683002/
"Transgender people exist. Why is there a debate over whether they should have rights?"

 Physical equipment at birth is decidedly evolutionary ('Male' or 'Female')
and this is informative how the physical body needs to be treated :!:

Since perceived gender is now accepted reality, M or F seems
the important first identifier (as letters). The second (and third)
could be the Perception and Attraction qualifiers, such as:

MFM - Anatomical: Male, Perception: Female, Attraction: Male
MFF - Anatomical: Male, Perception: Female, Attraction: Female
FFF - Anatomical: Female, Perception: Female, Attraction: Female

'?' could be used to indicate 'not historical', such as:

M?F - Anatomical: Male, Perception: ?, Attraction: Female
M?? - Anatomical: Male, Perception: ?, Attraction: ?
(precise birth identifier since MMF is unknown) ;)

Of course, other letters are needed to fully identify
the MANY genders and attractions. 8)

Caution: WTF may seem logical but is taboo.
