Re: https://citizenwatchreport.com/a-federa ... ed-speech/
"A federal judge ruled that a shirt that reads 'There are only two genders.' is not protected speech." :o

 By the same logic, a shirt that reads "There is only one God and he is female." would not be protected speech.
Ultimately, where each shirt is worn in public determines if it's inflammatory to some people. ;)

By the same logic, when a symbol (or whatever) is accepted as meaning "there are only two genders",
that symbol would not be protected public expression (another form of "speech").

"My wife gained 50LBS after giving birth... now I don't want to have sex with her" :o

 This problem highlights that the brain records associations of attractiveness and sex.
Thereafter, one's concept of attractiveness is not easily changed. What to do?
Therapy comes to mind, but what? Counseling? Big sex dolls? Meds?

"He’s Deeply Religious ... Might Be the Next Big Thing in Texas Politics."

"A week prior, he’d sat through a committee hearing on a bill that would allow chaplains to replace guidance counselors.
He was already dreading another floor debate scheduled for later in the day for a bill denying gender-affirming health care."

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -kids.html

"Lawyer for detransitioning woman, 18, who had surgery aged 13 slams doctors ...
says kids should be informed they could outgrow their gender dysphoria"

 These stories suggest "gender-affirming health care" should be "gender-sensitive health care",
since dysphoria may not be permanent (and may be typical of children transitioning to adults).
Also, internet's influence (and "influencers") did not exist several decades ago, suggesting
that this alone is a significant contributor to this recent dysphoria phenomenon.

"Calls for ‘Digital Fingerprints’ So Police Can Arrest People Who Share ‘Non-Mainstream News’ "

 However, links passed to others with lotsa numbers and letters after '.com', '.org', etc.,
may already identify the person sending the link. Example with some parts erased:
https://www. ~~~~ .com/cb54f6a0-0805-4f26 ~~~~

Digital Fingerprint would identify person rather than device (e.g., smartphone, laptop)
... since a device cannot be arrested.

Re: https://citizenwatchreport.com/alaskan- ... ables-cut/
"Alaskan undersea fiber optic cables cut"

"The breakage is significant, given the fact that the cable is buried beneath the ocean floor, below 90 feet of water"

 Seems attempt to suggest this was not an intentional cut (and might relate to increasing world turmoil).
However, 90 feet of ice is a bit difficult to imagine (more ice might be a problem much closer to shore).

See also: https://nsidc.org/learn/parts-cryosphere/sea-ice

"Antarctic sea ice is typically 3 to 6 feet thick, while Arctic sea ice is typically 6 to 9 feet thick.
In some Arctic regions, ice thickens up to 5 meters (15 feet)." :o

 So, who would commit such an act?
1st thought: Well-known international agressor.
2nd thought: "False flag" to blame this agressor.
3rd thought: Maybe this was a TV movie.

"In UK schools, students are identifying as cats and communicating via animal noises,
with teachers having to respect this so as not to engage in ‘discrimination’." :o

 Maybe test the students independently to see what's being communicated -
smart kids will say it's language teachers don't understand. Record the noises
(with their written permission "so as not to engage ..."), then play for real cats
to see how they respond. If the real cats recognize the "communication",
try to get their pronouns with more tests.

:duh But don't bother with kids that identify as pigs - this is real behavior
(according to some parents overwhelmed with housework). Of course,
adults are also permitted to identify as pigs when given the freedom.
However, female adults identifying as cats is a different topic.

"The social cohesiveness of our society is literally coming apart at the seams all around us!
The inmates are running the asylum at this point, and we are raising an entire generation of children
that are going to be completely and totally messed up if they ever get the opportunity to become adults."

:bana: The good news is that adults who encourage this behavior will become elderly
and be "taken care of" by the adults that these creative-identity children become.
Then, real pet food may be on the menus created by these new era children. ;)

"Gen Z's trans poster-child Milo from 2016 MTV show reemerges on social media,
tearfully regretting hormone jabs, hairy belly and 'dead ovary' " :(

 Apparently, the human body develops as conception intended (re: X,Y chromosomes),
requiring more sophisticated re-engineering than currently available. Unfortunately,
the child requires years of development in the intended direction before the child
is able to comprehend then reject nature's plan. This hints that brain "wiring"
is not complementary to physical development.

which originated in the eastern Chinese province of Hubei ... then spit out the rocks –
hence the dish’s name suodiu, meaning 'suck and dispose'."

 Don't suck out all the flavor! Sucker Soup can be made with the leftovers :!:
Apparently, Sucker Soup recipes are sold by other vendors. Forever Sucker Soup
(made with same stone for generations), however, is probably a myth. ;)

:sunflower: On the other hand, what may not be myth is that Sucker Soups
simply used very hot stones to keep the soup warm while consumed.
The stones could be sucked for flavor and mouth warmth. :roll

"The loudest (and quietest) cities in the US - and how rise of Pickleball is driving up noise complaints" :o

"The surge in pickleball popularity has led to the installation of hundreds of outdoor courts,
but the persistent paddle pops have some city residents on edge according to the survey ...
Players use a plastic perforated ball, slightly heavier than a wiffle ball, and wooden or
composite paddles that are about twice the size of ping-pong paddles."

 "Persistent paddle pops" (plus players' voices) is the primary source of this noise,
but Big Cities are generally noiser for other reasons. No complaint about booming music
from various devices (including vehicle speakers) as well as courtside :?: :!:

:stars: "Prickly Pops" comes to mind as a new term
for the many sources of noise in a modern city.

"A clinical trial funded by the United Kingdom’s National Institute for Health and Care Research is testing
whether pills made from the freeze-dried poop of healthy people could help those with advanced liver disease"

 Perhaps similar to commercial probiotics, but "from healthy people" may be questionable
considering how unique one's microbiome can be! How reliable are crapsules? Probably a krap shoot.

Re: https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorde ... our-health

"Living inside of your gut are 300 to 500 different kinds of bacteria containing nearly 2 million genes. Paired with other tiny organisms like viruses and fungi, they make what’s known as the microbiota, or the microbiome. Like a fingerprint, each person's microbiota is unique: The mix of bacteria in your body is different from everyone else's mix. It’s determined partly by your mother’s microbiota -- the environment that you’re exposed to at birth -- and partly from your diet and lifestyle."

 Incidentally, "bacteria, viruses, fungi" (not to mention toxins, etc.)
emphasize that a krap chute is not a safe playground. ;)

 Is it possible for AI output to be "organic"?

(from Oxford Languages) "Organic - 1. relating to or derived from living matter., 2. (of food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents."

 "Organic" for this discussion seems to refer to the first definition, i.e., whatever is found on the internet and living there as truth and fact. The second definition will slowly apply as AI output is proven to be predominantly truth and fact ... and is no longer perceived as "artificial intelligence." Interestingly, this next article hints of definition progress: An author or inventor is the legal owner of the writing or invention, regardless of what tools were used. 8)

Undoubtedly, AI itself will soon be able to critique all creations and determine the significance of the human's contribution relative to known AI expertise and knowledge. When such critique is possible, the human's reputation for quality output (or not) becomes more widely known (and probably an undisputed internet fact). Until then, if the same creativity is reproducible with AI prompting, alleged human authorship may be suspect. However, most humans will probably then opt for the AI-as-tool defense. ;)

:study: Re: https://www.information-age.com/ai-system-invent-14437/
"Can an AI system invent?"

"There is a consensus inherent in patent law globally that the owner of a patent is the inventor unless the rights have been assigned to another person, entity, or their employer. However, the law also requires that the inventor must be a person who has contributed in some material way to the invention’s conception. Therefore, under current law, only a human is capable of being named as inventor and the AI system is simply a tool they utilise as part of an innovation process."
