I adored this and the memories it drummed up in me. This writing could have been about my own experience when I first moved into our house many years ago. It was a great big yard with nothing in it...but there were possibilities as a runoff creek flowed through the back corner of the yard. It took twenty years but I had walking paths and green and growing plants and trees and flowers a pond and creek etc... I remember the peace and the birds... and from that a connection to the Creator of all.
