Hi,
For months now I have been enjoying a variety of free monthly masterclasses sponsored by Mindvalley Academy. The classes are usually interesting and informational and a good spend of my hour's time. The reason the spiritual academy offers these free classes each month is to introduce teaching programs that delve deeper into the content of the free class. I can't afford these programs but do find nudges from time to time to seek out the help the free classes can provide. Anyway, after all that..., tonight I am taking a free class given by Melissa Peers a brilliant British Therapist entitled, "Marisa Peer's Instant Transformational Hypnotherapy Masterclass." (If you are interested I believe you can take a peek and sign up here http://courses.mindvalleyacademy.com/un ... 1467949223
(I think it runs through Sunday July the 10th.)

But back to my main reason for sharing. Last night I was curious about Melissa peers and wondered if more talks and classes were shown on YouTube. Sure enough, I found quite a few. and so I watched this 15 minute talk. Well... I found it extremely helpful on issues plaguing me on several levels and hope some of you may also enjoy the talk. What she says makes a great deal of sense. So anyway, here it is. enjoy.

Have a fabulous week end!

Hi PP,
It seems they always have a free class every month. Of course that just "wets my whistle" and I can't afford the rest of the class. But you can still learn a bit from these things. You have taken some of Louise Hay's classes too I think haven't you? I believe she offers free classes too. So between the two one could get a fair bit of reinforcement to help with those needed "improvements."

Love,
Sandy

Absolutely,,,,,there really is a lot of free info out there nowadays,,,,not like a few years ago, I'm also doing a free 21 day meditation exercise with Deepak and Oprah. (with this 2 1/2 week vacation I'm already 5 days behind,,,,) it's not hard to catch up tho and this whole next week is MY R and R week.

They put one on last year,,or the year before and it was great....

and of course the free stuff is always the 'hook' for people to take their courses,,,,which is great,,,,but crimeny!!! one has to stay focused!!!
learn what you learn yes,,,,but make it work into your life.

no sense learnin it if you ain't gonna utilize it and make those great changes within oneself. (and it seems like I'm always "startin over")

Hey,,,just had an idea,,,,and what would you think about a thread to put links to FREE stuff on,,,,,just for this kind of stuff though,

come to think of it,,,,you did just that,,,so no need afterall...just list the title on the Misc thread..

(sometiems the brain wakes up) :roll :roll

anyway,,,,gotta get going..... :bike:

loves pp

Hi PP,
Hey,,,just had an idea,,,,and what would you think about a thread to put links to FREE stuff on,,,,,just for this kind of stuff though,
We're on the same wavelength I think... :D
I've been thinking of that and trying to decide how best to do it...For instance, this Melissa Peer's class is now over. So the opportunity is no longer there anymore. On a long running thread, one where we can post free classes and opportunities, do you think it would be wise for admin/mods to delete the offering once it has expired to prevent confusion, clean up the thread, and make current offerings more prominent? Or do you think admin/mods could simply write something like expired on the entry title. That way any conversation about the class and any benefits, detriments could remain intact. Of course, there are free meditations that almost never expire... that could be shared, once time tested. ;)

or.... would it be best to post a thread individually on each opportunity..making sure the thread title presents a fair representation of what it is about. So someone flipping through the misc index could quickly find what they need and are looking for? LOL It is getting more complicated eh? Hmm now I am sort of leaning towards individual threads as I think you are. Unless we do a sort of index... like the UB Cooking Index found here http://board.1111angels.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=25071
This is something that grows with the subject and is a quick guide to what is on the thread and where it is found. When something expires say in the course/meditation thread it can be taken off the index while leaving the supportive posts in the actual thread and any feedback, if any, intact. It is sort of like two threads that would be working in tandum with each other...????? it would also be a way to sort of classify such things by subject matter.

I am open to suggestions here so PP, you or anyone else who has any thoughts or suggestions please put in your two cents. This might also be a good place to post get togethers and meetings and such that are coming up...sort of like a community bulletin board. I know we are a world wide group of people with various spiritual affiliations yet God works in mysterious ways and someone in any particular area may benefit by knowing a meeting or class is being held in their own back yard or within their ability to travel.

Oh my! I am making this way more complicated then it has to be LOL
Enjoy all that good rest over there!... and have a safe flight home if I don't talk to you beforehand. :hithere
