Hi all, first post. I've been depressed lately, very negative, etc. My wife and I were lying in bed last night, facing each other, touching foreheads together and meditating. She's been very worried about me, and apparently was working on me asking for guidance. She saw the following:

A closed window, through the window she saw a light fixture hanging from the ceiling with an amber light, and what she describes as a "black, menacing" wasp perched upon the light fixture. She said the wasp wouldn't let "anything good" in, and urged me to ask Michael to rid me of it.

Any (serious) thoughts or insights you can offer would be appreciated.

It is nice to meet you.
I have been sitting here thinking about your post and while one is quick to look at the wasp as something dark and dangerous... when looking, for instance, at nature as a whole you can more easily observe the need and the benefit derived from all beings and creatures. (let's not talk about roaches ) As of the past few months, I have had some close encounters with wasps who have built several nests hanging down from our carport much like the lamp in your wife's vision. So I can imagine your wasp perched there in "protection mode" which is what they are doing... protecting their young.
I have also discovered that in sending loving thoughts and feelings to these tiny creatures of the physical world, that they in turn return with like feelings...actions. So much so that when their nest fell a while back, in a mutual sense of oneness and cooperation, I was able to pick it up and move them to a safer locale without the wasps becoming alarmed.

Now you are probably wondering... What the heck is she going on about, talking about wasps? But if symbolism is being used by the Divine...perhaps you may want to investigate a line of thought..."What is your wasp (possibly you) trying to protect within you...what are you hanging onto possibly causing your inner refusal of good things...Why are you stopping "the light?"
I could be way off but just a thought. something to consider...
