This is pretty interesting. I've known for a long time that there are a number of ways people begin their spiritual awakening. Mine was cataclysmic. If you are lucky your's may have been gentler. Here's an interesting list. Keep in mind that while we may start our journey from one of these 'Stages' that Kim identifies it is also the case that your path will lead you through some, many or even all of them at different times.

Thanks for this Welles! I experienced number 1 when I was 11...although I saw "people" that no-one else
did, so I queried that a lot. Dad said I was lucky to see Them.
I almost got abducted but a strong loud voice in my head commanded me to run and I obeyed, with this man
running after me but I got away so I wondered what/who that voice was that had succeeded in warning me.
Then, at the age of 14 I had my first OOBE and everything completely changed.

I feel like number 7 just about at the moment. But more, sometimes I feel extremely empathic and
then other days I feel like the main character in L'Etranger!
