My bank texted me a prompt LOL

Haha, I received my regular text reminder about my bill, but somehow the billing part never arrived via text, but the time stamps did:

"[11] 2011.

11:33"

I was thoroughly amused by this text's arrival. I saw the past time stamps and they're not all the same but in those they were certainly complete texts.

Hi Pet!

Seems like yesterday was a 33 kind of day? Me, Sandy, and now you! :D

I just woke up minutes ago~ but cleaned up a bit for the day already, still gotta do more. Looks like a great day out here where I am, too, but probably windy~ I already see silver streamers from the neighbor's backyard and the grass in our yard blowing every which way...I am hoping it doesn't affect the driving too much, I think my husband (I'll call him Bert on the board now lol, I feel like "husband" is tedious at times) will have me drive us down to the next town for some food and supplies shopping, then I'll be off shopping with a couple of girlfriends for the afternoon.

I hope you will be enjoying your time out today! In fact, I hope everyone has a lovely day or night ahead of them. :)

Well hello you sunny shoppers! :sunny:

It has been coolish and cloudy here...but well I love a good solid cool cloudy day anyway so its as good as a sunny one for me. :sunflower:
I saw you prompt photo, Pet. It looks a good one and made me wonder if maybe I too should check out photobucket again to see what the changes are. If you remember I have some saved posts from you, Sarah and PP explaining how to use it and post pictures here but perhaps the post is now outdated.

Hey, Have fun and hang on tight in that wind T! We wouldn't want you blown away! :hithere

(((HUGS))) to you both,
Sandy

Hi Sandy! Hi Pet!

Yesterday was a great day out with the friends and today was at a festival with my husband and a couple of our friends! We supported local businesses by going to said festival, but for a festival that was supposed to celebrate the poppies blooming out in the valley, it was more of a commercial thing with local vendors all over the place. Still, very nice to have been out on such a great, warm and sunny day...then it later turned windy. Also, since it was so windy, all the dust was getting stirred up and the nice clean car is now a very dusty car...with a couple of "presents" from the birds a few days ago after the wash occurred.

I am too heavy to get blown away, in my opinion! But thank you for the thoughts. As you do, Sandy, I like cloudy days, too, as well as some rainy days- because, like you, I relish the opportunities to splash around in puddles when I have the proper boots on. Bwahahaha!

Have a great night and day everyone!

Hmm, rather I think I was too heavy to get blown away by the winds that were blowing today...but I'm sure if it were a different sort of wind, then I couldn't say such a thing.

The festival you went to sounds like a lot of fun, T. I used to love going to those kinds of things. In the area I once lived there used to be a gigantic flea market fesival every Friday. People came from hours away just to browse the many isles of antiques, crafts, new and hard to find items and of course, the junk. The best part was the food stalls ...oh my, just like a state fair, the food smells permeate the place and one can find anything and everything they want provided it can be made from a very small trailer anyway. My favorite was the Kettle Corn made in a huge copper kettle over a fire. The purchase lines were long but it was soooo worth it... Shoot! here I am talking about food again.
Sorry. I'll try and curb my stomach for the rest of this browse.
Love,
Sandy

Sorry I didn't come back for a while. Hello Ladies, Sandy you're hilarious going on about food all the time!
But we always resort to what we're cooking of an evening when emailing, huh? I'm just making myself a Schtramme Max!
A piece of rye bread/toast up to you, mayo & Dijon mustard, cucumbers, slice of warmed ham (or Salami) cheese, spring onion,
sliced radishes, sliced tomatoes topped with two fried eggs! Mmmmmmmmmm!

Hey T, how's Bert? lol (My husband's middle name makes folk giggle: Horatio.
I once witnessed an old lady being lifted into the sky during a terribly windy day. I was 4 and my mother says to
my 6 year old sister: "Go and help her!"

Love to you both, Petra xxx

PETRA! Nice to see you again! Your profile avatar is AWESOME! Your son makes me laugh with his expression. And this thread kind of fell by the wayside.... I'll be providing an answer now to it....I'm sorry!

The sandwich you were making sounds DELICIOUS, I need some cucumbers now... but I will save that recipe, so to speak, for later. :D

Bert is doing swimmingly, although he and I had a pretty bad time of getting to sleep, because he had two cups of coffee throughout the day and I had gotten concerned about the ants in the house, making their way to some sticky spot on the floor that the roommate caused with some spill yesterday. I found the happy ant trail last night right before bed. Not happy about any of that since I have to deal with cleaning the floor myself today, when the roommate really should have taken care of this...

Sandy, I love talking about food with you, so don't be ashamed if it gets brought up. Food is like a placeholder for memories sometimes, or they are memories themselves, whichever one fits the bill. I want some kettle corn now! I've also come to love flea markets and thrift shops over the years, so I think it would have been a treat for me to be able to browse such events.

Love,
Theunim

I don't think I could quit talking about food even if my life depended on it. Thank goddness that it doeesn't eh? Petra is one of those fabulous cooks that I suspect would be fabulous even if every cook book in the world suddenly disappeared like in the rapture! I, on the other hand, need clear and concise instructions and even then can easily mess up the works. ... still fun to give it a try though. I have found cooking and especially baking something is a great cure for temporary sadness and mild non clinical depression... especially cookies! Those little darlins really can perk up your day! That is if you haven't eaten too much of the cookie dough as well as sampled too many of the finished products. In that case one might have a "well deserved" stomach ache. :pale:
Love you guys!
Sandy
