Hello Everyone!

Over the past few months I have been finding white feathers in the most unusual places! This is happening more and more frequently and then to confuse me even more I found a black feather upon meeting someone new for the first time - any thoughts or help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Carole Ann, In 08 I moved from the farm I lived on all my life. I was sitting on a beach in New Smyrna feeling a little guilty and uncertain about leaving it all behind. Especially the dogs I had to leave with the ex.

A white feather slowly floated down from above and to my left landing just out of reach at my feet. I'm not sure how long I just looked at it but when I leaned forward to pick it up it lifted and slowly floated away. It left me with a strong feeling I had done the right thing and to move on.

If I remember the scene from the movie Forrest Gump correctly it was very similar.

I don't have any idea about the black feather but I'm sure you will learn the answer when the time is right.

Welcome from me, too, Caroleann! There's another thread about white feathers too...I've got quite a collection! A black feather must be very beautiful and interesting.

I'm not sure about the black feather either but if it somehow allows you feel something special or helped soothe your mind as in Shield's post I suspect it has every bit as much oomph as a white one! I'm glad you've joined our board! Welcome!
