Another Newbie

I had never heard of this until today. I have always noticed different number sequences on my clocks like 10:10 back in high school hanging with my best friend, and for years 12:34. The last few years its been 3:33 when it feels like am awakened. It always reminded me of that Rumi poem - "The morning breeze has secrets to tell, do not go back to sleep". Yes it feels like I am being given messages - actually I know I am being given messages - they are being delivered in my dreams too. And I too started seeing repeated 4's. I had seen 11:11 before but I was completely unaware of any "phenomena" and that many others were experiencing this too, or that it is related to 12/21/2012.

But today I was leaving my house and happened to notice the clock on the stove - 11:11. Then I put on my boots, I gathered my wallet and cell phone, then hunted around for my keys, then for my glasses, made sure the back door was locked, petted my dog, left out the front, locked the front door, yada-yada-yada - my point being that I did stuff for several minutes before I was finally in my truck with it started when I happened to notice the clock - 11:11. Okay, so I took special note of seeing that number twice within a span of five minutes or so.

Then later I went to a bookstore - a metaphysical book store. I was browsing for a new book to read - maybe one on Shamanism. I got to that section but nothing in particular was popping out at me. Then I turned to my left, which happened to be the numerology section and there I saw the book 11:11 The Time Prompt Phenomenon" by Marie Jones. So of course I flipped through it reading the important parts about this phenomena.

I'm not new to the 2012 stuff, or new agey stuff, I've been studying these topics including the bible code and astrology, and reading all sorts of books on enligtenment, energy shifts light beings, angels and guides etc... and more recently Shamanism. Although I do feel pressed I have never done anything active with this knowledge or the information I get from my dreams. Instead I continue trying to work my computer geek job in corporate America hating most aspects of it (actually all but the pay) and job after job ends in disaster. I was just fired two months ago and haven't found another position yet. But I definately feel a calling to do something - just don't know what yet. I am hoping shamanic exercised will help me hone in on what I am to do.

I was also surprised to hear about "mid-wayers" on this site. I had never heard of them either, but I definately a bought with them this past holiday season. They were doing all kinds of things to get my attention. In the week between Xmas and New Years while driving my truck I was triggering every speed camera on the road - and I wasn't speeding and no one was around me - and I never received a ticket in the mail. I'd pull into the bank, do my business, come back to the truck and it wouldn't start. I checked the fuses, checked the battery wires - nothing apparently wrong. I'd then turn the key and it would start. That happened several other times. I was vacuuming with my fairly new, reliable vacuum, and it suddenly stopped. Everything I touched gave me a shock. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and find a light had been turned on. My alarm always wakes me with classic rock, then one day and for several days all I got was static, then it went back to normal without my adjusting anything.

Like someone else on this site said, I wish they would make their messages more clear, or for us to find away to tune into better what is being communicated. Maybe it is information we are not to know or understand now but will be become clear later. In the meantime it is somewhat frustrating knowing there are entities out there trying to contact us, but we can't "see" them because we are so stuck in the physcial, material world using only our five senses. I'd like to know how to release that and learn to "see" in another way.

Hi Goceylon and welcome. It sure seems like you've been on a journey to find answers. I can only tell you what works for me. I meditate and take it slow, and the answers (not all ) come. I think that sometimes there's a little bit of "truth" in all of it. How I figure it out is if it's about love it's right. If it says "this is the ONLY way", then I have to question it. (I'm not sure if I'm making any sense as I haven't finished my morning coffee!) Good luck on your journey.

I know the Midwayers, Angels and the host of other Celestial beings seem distant and far away from our realm of physical senses...but in reality they are not and they will meet us more then halfway if we are serious and dedicated in our attemps to reach out to them in their work of spiritizing and enlightening our world. i'm sorry about your job situation and hope you find something that seems more fulfilling or makes you Happy with what you're doing.
shamanism is a very interesting subject indeed. plant teachers, spirit mediums... really cool
it's a completely different lifestyle then what we're accustomed to here in this industrialized society
i too am trying to break away from such chaotic or harsh living environments and take on new Understanding... like appreciation for all of life, even in the smallest of places
sometimes when it's raining i think there are beings i can't see- microscopic or maybe gaseous forms which exist in other dimensions(like different layers of reality) maybe even light beings

i'll look at a puddle of water and admire it- there's so much life in this and get upset when a car hauls a$$ over the water without care- stirring all kinds of commotion. or when cars don't slow down for the animals on the road
very upsetting

its like nature has become so foreign to us...
i would recommend taking time in stillness... whether that be meditation, prayer, reflection
start looking within
once i meditated in the woods with my friends... you have to walk off a main road to get there- i remember the deeper we got the quieter it became
all the noises went from city to woodsy
when we came back- the cars made everything seem really chaotic and fast pace
the city felt so unnatural after finding a real sense of peace and belonging under a tree eating onion sprouts

you're right though! there's so much guidance given to us in our dreams
now that i think about it... there's guidance in just about anything... if you choose to see it as such.

i wonder why you are suddenly interested in shamanism? there are so many different worlds or ways of life that i do not Understand... i want to tune into a more subtle, beautiful reality. things that exist here on earth but can't see. i wonder why so many people are trying to raise their vibration?
