Today I heard a voice calling my name

Today is Monday, May 24, 2010, roughly 4:41 in the morning I was sleeping heavily, and heard an unrecognizable voice call my name 'Chris', it was soft spoken, and it came from inside my head, and sounded like someone was speaking right in front of my face. I woke up in a heartbeat, but 'they' probably knew I was going to wake up. I noticed I was going to be prompted because it was so close to 4:44, it was at 4:41 when I woke up and looked at the time. I did notice 4:44, and as soon as I did, I felt like it was them saying 'You received our message', its that sensation where you just know something, but your unsure how you know it.

I told who ever or what ever it was to 'Please not do that when I'm sleeping' and 'I heard you!' in a sleepy voice. But sooner gave them permission before I fell back asleep by using my thoughts, not my voice. (the reason I talk in my thoughts, is because I believe thoughts are faster than words in their realm)

I didn't hear anymore messages, and did not awake until just an hour before typing this thread. I remember like it was yesterday, a few years back, when I was around age 13, someone called my name 'Chris!' when I was sleeping, and I actually woke up and yelled 'Yeah?' like if someone was telling me to wake up before school, but this occurred in the summer. As soon as I had my experience today, I had this memory and I was sure it was my Midwayers saying my name when I was 13 yrs old. I only became spiritually aware when I was 18 yrs old, which was a year ago. So this is a strange occurrence.

I think that you will find that there are quite a few people, myself included, on this board that know what you mean when you say{

I also have memories of memories that come to me crystal clear. I can feel the sensations of exactly what was going on at the time. One of my first rememberances was when I was in the third grade. I live in a community that was founded by a religious order. Their leader's grave is not far from where I live. In learning the history of our community, my class took a field trip to the area where they built dams and where there remain beautiful parks with the manmade lakes that were created due to their efforts. Near this lies his grave. As we were standing around his grave, a memory of my Teachers (Guides) and an ability to feel their presence being nearby struck me. A feeling of elation filled me. I was a desparately unhappy kid and this memory flooded back the feelings of joy associated with the love given to me by my Teachers (Guides) and our Creator. I also remembered that I had walked with them often prior to this day. It was like a part of me was saying "oh yeah, them, they love me and watch over me".

As an adult, I had forgotten this occurerd except that that field trip stood out in my mind as a privotal day when I took a new direction as a child. It was as if I had been renewed. I moved far away from home and came back years later. My husband and I went to the park and I searched out the grave. While standing there, in my mind flashed the trip there with my third grade class. I knew where I had been standing at the moment of "their intrusion" into my mind. I could remember that it was a hot and humid day. As I remembered the wash of joy, the same as I felt that day, came over me. I remembered my class teacher had observed that something had come over me and had asked me if I was okay. I had almost started crying on that day due to the joy that I felt. It all happened again on this second visit. This man buried in the grave, must have been a powerfully loving presence while on this Earth.

Thanks for that experience, its nice to know other people can have similar experiences. Intuition from another being is amazing.

It will come and go unless you stay tied in. To stay tied in, you have to make a choice to do so and take active measures. However, I have heard or read that forgetting is a big part of it--you forget to remember and each time the tie grows stronger, unless it doesn't. It is up to you. You know how in the Bible it says that many are called but few answer. Well, there ya go, God is calling my dear. At least I think it is God acting through his emissaires. Also, and I am not saying this because I am taking for granted that you are a Christian, or that I think you should be, I just happen to know the Bible quotes as I am a Christian. I am sure that you can find similar teachings in any religion. Well, in the Bible, Jesus says repeatedly, especially in the Gnnostic texts which aren't in the Bible any longer, "let him who has ears hear, let him who has eyes see". Ever wonder what that was in reference to? Well, now you know. You have heard. At some point, you may also see some really out of the way (unusual to most people) stuff.

I am sure you saw the FAQ link on this board. Answers to a lot of questions are there. Keep in mind that, while you will find a great deal of commonality with the members of the board, each of us has a very personal experience or path. You only have to find you way to your's. Don't expect your experience to contain exactly the same things experienced by someone else.

Hi Chris, yeah, I get that quite a lot. Three times as a warning whilst driving.
Once I heard "get off the road NOW Petra!" so I did and moments later two
cars sped past at at least 50mph (joyriders) and this was on a tiny country lane in
Wales...
