Hey Guys! Long Time!!!

Happy 1/11!
I know I haven't posted in a while but trust that I'm still around and reading. I just figured that I'd share my day with you all. Work has been really scarce out here in LA. To the point where I didn't know how much longer I could go living out here (financially). I jumped on board editing for a weekly webseries called MotoMan back in November. The pay isn't nearly enough to pay bills or the like. It's pretty much a start up show (team of 5-6 guys). Anyways, I've been editing promo's/trailers/commercials for them for the past few months, not really knowing what the exact launch date would be. Then I got a call saying that the first episode would go live on http://www.craveonline.com on January 11th (check it out if you have the time!!!). I knew that was a sign...
Then just last week, I saw a posting for an assistant editor position/game capture specialist (and if you know me, you'd know that my two biggest passions are filmmaking & the video game industry). I applied for the job and got an email back no later than 15 mins at 1:11pm. I said "Hmmmmm..."
The email said that they were interested in having me in for an interview. So I went in, the offices are amazing and it's pretty much my dream job setting! They told me that they had a few other people to interview but they also said that they would definitely be calling me back (which they didn't tell anyone else!).
My call back was this morning at 10am and what sucked about it is that I was up until 7am putting the final touches on the MotoMan episode that was going live this morning. I was thinking to myself "Man, I really wanted to get a good nights sleep so I could go in and be on point for the follow up interview." But the whole night I was constantly being hit with number sequences as if I were a punching bag hah. They must've been letting me know that everything was going to be alright because when I got home after the interview, they called me and told me that I was the best candidate for the position and they'd love to have me start tomorrow!
It's unbelievable. I was always a believer in 11:11 but obviously this is just another instance in which cements the belief more and more. If I could hug a midwayer right now, it'd be one of those big bear hugs where I lift them up and spin them around haha. I couldn't be more thankful if I tried. Anyways, I just thought I'd share my 1/11 day of awesomeness with you all and I hope you're day as filled with as much joy as mine!
