11:11 Angels Message Board

We will be moving to the new version of Phpbb in a few days. In theory all the old posts and your usernames and passwords will be transferred. It will take some time to do that, and for that period of possibly hours, this site will say "Disabled". We will try to do that in "Aus" time, so most of you folks may not notice, but the cookies will change, so you may have to enter your passwords, and I guess many may have forgotten those? Please try to recover the password, rather than just creating a new account. Email me if you have issues.

Once we are in the new site, it is similar, but different. It will also probably take me a week or so to iron out any issues, even little things like trying to enhance the smilies, which are once again very basic. Maybe it will import them too, that we will see.

I trust that you will all be understanding about this, we don't have any choice, this version is no longer supported.

Guys, the plan is to convert TOMORROW, at 10am Eastern Standard Australian time. That is Nov 5th here, but some folks will still be on Nov 4th.

It is possible that some passwords will fail in the conversion, but clearly I have no way of testing that, and if you find that, please do "recover password"

If all else fails, please contact George, or myself. You can do that off any of the 1111 web sites, using the contact form. I will link one from here:

The transition will take some hours, and may fail, in which case I will re-open THIS board till the next attempt is made. While the conversion is running, you will get a message to say this site is disabled.

Aarg, I had to empty that one, to ready it for the conversion. If there are two of you, as users, it will get confused.

We have now scheduled this for 8pm Australian Eastern Standard time.

Well it took much more time than expected, but its now open for business. If you find any problems, please let George or me know. You can PM us, or post here, or you can now use the email facility too.

Yes, but there are now a lot more options. And I am getting used to mine, then I will need to get used to what a "normal" user has.

We got a WAY bigger server last week, but last night it had an attack of the wobbles. Hopefully it will settle down. But those five new users in the last 12 hours were bots, cause I had a setting wrong.

There is a handy little white ( A )button at the top of screen for changing the font size.... handy as i was having trouble reading the writing....
