Out of Nowhere

This morning I dropped my daughter off to school & when I arrived home pulling into my driveway I catch a glimpse of an animal walking onto my front porch. I got out of my car & sitting at my front door is this adorable little puppy, cold & shivering. It was in the low 20's this morning, so I had no other option but to take this puppy in, and what a beautiful sweetheart he is. I went to the police station, local gas station & local market, checked with neighbors, talk to kids in school, posted bulletins with no aval.
Is this little baby an angel from out of no where?
Who would not claim such a beautiful creature of God?
Do you think there is some significance to his showing up in my life?
Of course the whole family has fallen in love with him already, well that is except for my husband who kept insisting that I put him back outside, men, lol, never. My kids are at home with him, loving him up. My husband said under no circumstances are we keeping him, but I don't want to see him have to go to the humane society or animal shelter - what will become of him.
Everyone prayer that he finds his owner. Or was he delivered as a gift?

Oh Sherry..I just love puppies!

We had a pup years ago take up with my son while he was out fishing. My ex said under no circumstances were we going to keep her permanently...About a month later my parents came up for a visit and they both fell in love with her. She "followed them home" and now is the light of their lives and is so loved and spoiled. My Mom says she is a true blessing and a gift from God.
I pray the little angel ends up just where he should, in a wonderful home where he is loved to bits.

Love, Sandy

Hi Sherry,
Well the dog came to you because he knew you would help. I do rather think the ones that find us are sent to us for a reason. And though you may not be able to keep him it could be that because of you the little guy gets to where he is ultimately suppose to be. Though I do hope your husband warms up to him. It sounds like you are all smitten with him. My best to you and the little guy.
Love,
Michelle
Sandy, your doggie is cute!!!

Hi Sherry,
I hope your husband warms to this little one....puppies are very cute, he may be thinking of the commitment involved 15 yrs plus...some people don't relish that idea... Hope all goes well and you find the right place for this little one. If someone in the house doesn't like a pet it causes friction...

No, it's a stray dog from somewhere! It may even be a secret werewolf?? disguised as a cute puppy?? You never know!!
Ah, keep it! If just to annoy the other-half??

Just to update you all, I still have not found the owner, and of course we all love this little guy to pieces, with the exception of hubby. He isn't saying to much, but I know how he feels. I told him I need ample time if someone claims him, but as of yet, no go!
Petra you are a scream, lol. I would love to keep him, but I would rather find the little guy a warm loving home like mine, but not mine, if you know what I mean.
I am very fond of animals in general/puppies especially, they surely warm the heart. My kids have fallen in love with him, and I'm hoping this time it's taking to find the owner my husband will too.
I will keep you posted!
Much Love,
Sherry

Well tomorrow will be 2 weeks since this puppy has entered our lives & believe it or not, my husband has not once spoken about getting rid of him.

And still no owner claims! It looks like we have a new puppy, yayyyyyy!
Hope everyone is having a great week!

What a nice story...it sounds like that puppy has found a good home.
Have you come up with a name for him?

Hi Nobadges,
Well we were just calling him "Puppy," because I didn't want me or my kids to get attached to him, but now we are calling him "Tucker." It seems fitting - he's a mix of a Beagle & German Sheppard, or some type of Coon dog? I really have no clue! So "Tucker," it is!

i have found in my experiences that the dog will always find its rightful owner. and for various heavenly reasons.
the two dogs i have right now are brother and sister. i was going to pick a different puppy but my dad *suggested* a different one and she was a gift from god. we ended up taking her brother back after the old lady that took him couldnt handle him because he got too big. they are the biggest clowns in the world, always messin around with eachother. they were one of the biggest reasons im still alive today.
best of wishes with the new addition to the family, as it seems you will be reluctant to let him go if no owner shows up.

So you are keeping him, Sherry?? Ohh, what a softie! I like what Rick wrote before me, how occasionally dogs will find their owners, same as what happened to our soppy dog Patch!
Love, Petra xxxx
P.S: Got a photie?

Here's Tucker! My newest addition! I do believe he was sent to us for a reason - funny thing is, my husband seems to think that the people right across the street that raise dogs like these - country street - that it may be there's. I have flyers all over town, even in the adjoining towns & still no claims, but at this point I hope no one claims him. He's an absolute sweetheart, okay a brat too, but what are puppies for?

You will be happy to know that Tucker Daniel is a permanent residence in our home now. He is dearly loved by everyone & such a little brat!
I'm glad that I was able to take this baby in & give him all our love. Hubby still has his moments about Tucker, but I do catch him every now again giving Tucker lots of love.

Yeaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Your hubby sounds a bit like the way my Dad used to be, Sherry. He'd act a bit "standofish" with the dogs but when he thought no one was around he was the biggest softie. When we'd catch him his eyes would twinkle and he'd pretend to be all stern...
Gosh...I just love happy endings!
Love,
Sandy

Seems hubby has been opening up a bit lately, thank God!
Hey blue nova, Anne, I noticed it says you live in Michigan. I also live in Michigan, just wondering what location. I am in southeastern Michigan, about 35 miles north of Detroit!
Hope everyone is doing well!!!

So, can you post a picture of Tucker please? We want to see your new baby boy.
I'm glad this story had a happy outcome. I am trying to find homes for 2 little cuties now myself to save them from being euthanaized.

He's growing up so fast, hard to keep up. He just turned 7 months on January 29th. He's already pulling himself up on things & talking! He's my little cuttie pie.
Oh & last Friday my daughter, the mother of baby Noah just announced that she is pregnant with a little baby girl. Grandchild #2 coming up!
Hope everyone enjoys! Yes, he is a very happy baby!
