Despite the worldwide coronavirus and related financial problems,
earthquakes keep forecasting a more serious "cataclysm".

Conjecture: Many smaller earthquakes (tremors, etc.) occurring worldwide
fracture solid rock in the earth's crust and permit easier reorganization
caused by unbalanced pressures below the crust.

The earth's crust has been shifting for millions of years ...

Best guess about the conjectured tsunami ...
If you're at sea-level elevation on a vulnerable coast
and not prepared to leave immediately after the warning,
traffic will prevent many people from escaping that area.

Discussion about Russia's SPFS (started 2014) and China's CIPS (started 2015) new payment systems which limit the impact of Russia's exclusion from SWIFT (especially if Russia and China now become major trading partners) ... and mentions the resulting increase in energy costs for the West because of the sanctions.
