Sounds good. I look forward to meeting you, Oscar. I'm ready to go with Paper 1. I have put together a slide deck which highlights some of the main points from each section. We don't have to get through them all in one meeting. We can just play it by ear. You never know where the discussion may lead.

Sandy and Eric, I hope you can make it on Sundays. If not, I'm sure we can work something out if you want to keep meeting.

This sub-forum seems to need constant exposure and not be interrupted with
UB related posts, for example. A main page "Zoom Meetings" forum might work.

Also, good morning guys- unfortunately Sunday for me doesn't work. I visit my parents once a week(Sunday evening) that's our time together. But that's okay, we can also post about the paper and continue discussions here in this thread as Oscar suggest. Until the time comes there is a more agreeable schedule for everyone. Not a problem but comment about web site usage: Intuitively, information about a near-term meeting
should have higher priority than a topic's post. This forum's Last Post changes to last post subject,
removing the previous last post subject which may relate to the near-term Zoom Meeting.
A user then needs to go to a sub-forum to become aware of new meeting information.

changed to "UB Cookin" (not a problem for those viewers)

Also, in the future, Urantia Book Study
may not be the only Zoom Meeting.

I believe Rod is right.

In my case I like to read some posts for the fun of it. But it would be much clearer to actually have the title of the thread for the actual conversation. Since it is about the Zoom's Meetings, we can actually just said if the meeting took place, and link it to a thread specifically discussing the points of Paper 1, for example, where we would discuss widely.

Well it's just a suggestion. That the topic keeps changing it makes it hard to follow, it is ok, but it would be much easier to follow with some help.

Ah, I better understand. In other words, more convenient for the lazy forum user. BTW, I am taking a jab at myself- on a separate forum I seem to only view topics by recent discussions than spend my time snooping around. Lazy, or modern?

I will open the zoom room this evening and see if anyone shows up. I still have to update the meeting time in Zoom to Sundays at 7pm Eastern. I’ll be online here at that time too if anyone has trouble joining.

I'll talk to Geoff about some of the things you have discussed regarding the Zoom meeting's placement.
I am probably good for Sundays depending on how late my brother stays. He usually visits on Sunday but often leaves by 5:00 pm.
Just a reminder, I won't be able to be there this week as I am visiting my family in Ohio.

I opened the Zoom room for about 15 minutes last week and no one else joined so I went offline. Perhaps you tried to join after I shut it down, Oscar. Hopefully we can pick this up again next week when Sandy gets back from Ohio. I hope you are enjoying your time with your family, Sandy!

Also, I'm going to attempt to tweak my schedule a bit this week so perhaps we can go back to Fridays, or come to a consensus on a time that works for everyone.

OOOOOooOOO if Fridays come back let me know! I'm off Tuesdays and Fridays. Sundays are no good for me, if we do any days I work I'm not free until at least 7PM central. Yikes. Sorry for the limitations... But I would be more than happy to hop back in on the Friday calls!

After a nice summer break, I’m looking to resume the Urantia Book study sessions. If anyone is interested please let me know. We will be meeting next week to discuss Paper 2, The Nature of God. The date is still undecided between Tuesday or Friday. Any interested parties can comment here on their preference of day.
