 This article seems to give more evidence that "male" and "female"
are not precise categories, hinting that allowance for some maleness (for females)
or femaleness (for males) is the more accurate continuum of human sexuality. ;)

:o Interestingly, "bisexual" may be the healthy norm of the continuum's center
where identity is not mentally problematic - just a perceived duality.

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/arti ... -wash.html

"You should never put anything made of wood in a dishwasher, namely chopping boards, rolling pins and wooden spoons because the material absorbs every odour and flavour circulating from other dirty dishes.

"Good knives and fine china should also be avoided because the water pressure and corrosive detergent can blunt your knives and ruin the detailing on those previous pieces of crockery.

"Anything that contains a 'reactive metal' - which is prone to corroding over time - is also best washed by hand. That means anything with aluminium and copper - including non-stick pans - should be hand washed." :o

 Interestingly, non-stick pans have acquired a durability reputation that, apparently, does not include use of a dishwasher.

 Since a quick warm rinse of many dishes overdue for washing  makes hand washing easier, this quick rinse may make even dishwasher scrubbin' easier (and permit use of less detergent). The most modern dishwashers probably include a pre-soak option, but your robot kitchen helper (or dishwasher AI) already knows this.

"Maypearl voters elected a dead man to be the city's next mayor. Now city officials are trying to figure out what to do.
"Philip Veltman died March 15 -- after the deadline to remove candidates from the May 4 ballot.
"Veltman won the mayoral election with about 62 percent of the votes, beating council member John Wayne Pruitt.
"Only 110 of the town's 1,100 residents voted in Saturday's race"

Yes, the voters knew Veltman had died before the vote.
 Obviously, Veltman will be disqualified in absentia.

"Bernstein predicts the alternative meat category is headed down a similar path to plant-based beverages like almond milk,
potentially growing to a $40.5 billion market by 2030." :o

 Well ... if "meat" continues to be used in this advertising, school textbooks will need to be updated
with pictures of Faux Cows ... and diagrams showing what parts are used for the faux meat.

:geek: Technically (grammatically), "alternative" should be replaced by "substitute" ...
since plants are not "other meat" (according to biology textbooks). ;)

The subtle lesson of "alternative meat" promotion is that consumers will finally discover
that plant-based protein can be as good as meat-based (re: amino acids) :!:

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -tree.html

"A California judge ordered a couple to pay nearly $600,000 for uprooting a 180-year-old oak tree that later died
and causing other damage to a protected property about an hour north of San Francisco."

 With tree roots generally as widespread as its branches above, moving an older tree may require
a LARGER bundling of the root system in order to move it and risk remains that the tree will not survive. ;)

:geek: The finer tree roots that transport import nutrients to a tree
are located farther out in the tree's root system as the tree ages. ;)

Re: https://www.infowars.com/microsoft-to-r ... y-correct/

What's intriguing about "politically incorrect" words and expressions is that the writer may
intend to be "politically incorrect" for the purpose/audience of that particular writing :!:

This article's "gentleman's agreement" is a good example of a term fading in popularity,
but still recognized and frequently used by gently aging men and women. :)

 After all, freedom of expression helps define the uniqueness of human beings,
avoiding their being clones of each other. When and where to be "politically correct"
should be the choice of the writer (or editors of published material ... or moderators
of social media sites). ;)

But departure location and date may be important. ;)

"most of Savin's entertainment came from the portholes in his vessel, through which he watched passing fish."

Catching fish (his primary food) may have been especially entertaining ... when he was hungry.

 Why not include an Alexa type listening/observing monitor where a real human

while the passengers are romping?

Of course, the camera would be pointed ahead and listening would be a familiar
Alexa feature (analyzed anonymously only to keep improving the device). ;)

"Google wants all users to feel represented in its emoji selection. The search giant has launched a set of 53 gender fluid emojis as part of its broader push to be 'more inclusive'. Gender fluid emoji have longer hair to make them appear neither male or female."

Re: http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20150206 ... al-animals

"Lots of animals engage in homosexual behaviour, but whether they are truly homosexual is another matter entirely" ;)

 Apparently, all of the Animal Kingdom needs the potential label of "gender fluid".

An aside about grammatical problem of "all is" vs "all are" (re: "All of Animal Kingdom") ...
Re: https://english.stackexchange.com/quest ... eed-is-are

 Since this article suggests that both forms are correct by popular usage,
we might proffer that sentence context also determines the proper form.

 "Say what?!" "All is/are" is gender fluid grammar (what they say you see is what you get).
Compare: "All you need is love" vs "All you need are love". :love

Even the Science Tech article uses both forms: "53 gender fluid emojis", "Gender fluid emoji"
and hints that an explicit number of things determines the Object's contextual plurality.

 Apparent grammar guide: Is the Subject things (plural) or a set of things (singular)?
If this is unknown, attach a gender fluid emoji to clarify your sentence. :jocolor:

Rod :stars: (even gender fluid grammar is confusing ...
hinting that "female" can also mean "fe_minine male")

That's also my habitual self label for government forms.

 About the animal kingdom ...

If man descended from animals (according to science)
and some animals exhibit "homosexual" behavior ...
then man is also a similar evolution anomaly. :o

(the "nature" of "nature vs nurture" ...
unless the animal kingdom includes nurture
that allegedly influences gender preference)
