Eating a large - even "decadent" - dessert after a great meal seems illogical ...
since the meal and dessert effectively compete (with caloric/nutritional downside).

This research suggests that deciding on dessert before the meal causes better meal choices.

EYOUUU!!!! I cannot fathom the thinking of a bathroom kitchen combo! ..or even worse renting it!
By golly, our toilet lid will be down upon flushing in this house from here on!

So I m wondering with this information if an outhouse may actually be more sanitary? Not sure I want to go there... LOL on any level...

For modern city dwellers, the tub could be replaced by a shower, leaving room for a breakfast nook
... where a visual one-way shower curtain could provide supervisory/entertainment benefit.
(increase the rent since this will be a popular rental unit for dating singles)

Note: Benefit is for the bather - not kitchen staff.
(don't reverse the curtain when it's installed)

I visited Nancy J. a week ago and was slightly uneasy about Alexa being active in most rooms, listening to our conversations (verbalize "Alexa" to get her to interact more openly). I suppose (and with cameras integrated) I wouldn't mind Alexa giving me advice on efficient bathing technique to conserve water ... if she used encouraging words and tones. Also, she could send me the bath video for "post-game" analysis.
Just imagine! with AI device integration (currently in development), she could literally scrub my back!

Me: "Not so hard, Alexa! I'm a tenderfoot."
Alexa: "Sorry, but I didn't touch your feet! ... and I see more than feet, you know
... but compared to other feet, yours are just average."

"Hunter" (boy) and "Gatherin" ("Catherine", girl) were names for babies, but were assigned just after birth ... and not later when preference for hunting or gathering was confirmed. Back then, gender identity was easier when one's basket or spear revealed what evolution had not.

This reminds me of the banner over the serving line in my grade school cafeteria: "A good citizen eats all of their food."

And for years, my mother prepared two sandwiches for my lunch - I always ate both of them whether that hungry or not. Only upon becoming an independent adult did I realize that I could eat one sandwich as "lunch" ... especially since a foot-long Poor Boy is sold as one sandwich.
