I have been curious as to whether i might be a "lightworker" ever since I read alittle about it...i sent my prayers for a sick father in the healing thread and was instantly whispered to "check post time" there it is a 999...how about that

Mmmm, I enjoyed that ramble VERY much. (munch munch munch, let me put my chips away)

I have a Jacob too! (but we call him Jake) also 15, but a Pisces. He was given the ability to see auras during a dream at age 12 (I think). LONG story for another time...He was seeing too many things so he has "turned it off" (you see, according to him...and I BELIEVE HIM...if you "shut" it off you can't get it back, but if you "turn" it off you CAN turn it back on). I'm waiting patiently for that. His experience is what actually led me to start digging deeper spiritually.

You mentioned

people suffering with mental and emotional "tweaks" flock to me and my patience and understanding is unconditional

It reminded me of a book (well, if you can call it that, it's more like a little handbook) called "Bringers of the Light". I picked it up because it looked like I could finish it in one sitting...LOL I never got past step 2 (page 20...short pages and double spaced!!!)

Anyway, it says that we do not come here with a purpose assigned to us, rather we create our purpose. Here's why I got stuck - Once you define that purpose you will attrack who/what needs what you have to offer. Well, whether we create our purpose or if it is given to us by God, who knows, but it seemed natural that my purpose is to love. Just love. Then my mind started racing with what that might attract and I freaked. (And stopped reading...I WILL get back to it...maybe after I re-learn geometry so I can drill it into my Jake's head.)

I do seem to attract some pretty needy folks, but I just wasn't ready to accept the responsibility of them "flocking" to me.

SO- for you, people suffering with mental and emotional "tweaks" flock to you because of your patience and unconditional understanding. Pretty cool.

If you don't want me to know how your honestly feeling then don't get to close to me in proximity or your beat, because I'm never wrong! I can "smell" the difference between stupid and evil too and find that while this used to smoother this fire sign now ignites me to the heavens.

I admire your confidence in your intuition. I have this ability too, but lack the confidence you have. As far as I can recall, I haven't been wrong, but I guess I like to see the "proof in the pudding" before "I throw the baby out with the bathwater" (now those are quotes I never used before
)

I gotta' say, I also admire you and your kids. That is SO young to have babies! Do you think what you went through with your mom made you a better mom? Sure sounds like you've got it down good!!!

Perhaps it's the whole confidence thing again. Not second guessing yourself. Seems like that's something I really need to work on...then again (lol) seems like there are times I should have 2nd guessed myself and didn't. Oh well.

Loved it ...actually my Jake is an aquarias not a libra I'm confident yet insecure...but apparently very convincing...lol...It's a double edge sword really...people have always said this to me about my matter of fact way but the truth is it's another gift. I often feel scared, confused and alone but am a mama bear and it's my job to come out growling... My grandpa used to say that if i wasn't dazzeling him with my brilliance i was baffeling him with my bullsh**...and i could sell ice to an eskimo...lol...we are alot alike...i can feel it your book experience reminds me of mine with "Drama of a gifted child" by Alice Miller...i'll read it when i'm really ready to hear what it has to say...ttyl taking my friends daughter for a walk!

The young part makes it physically easy and u can imagine with my innate nature , my kiddies got the great end of an understanding stick. ...but WAIT~!!!!! Don't take ur hat off to me yet... I am also a wild child at heart thus for not easy to shock, bin around the block twice, once just cause I'm a sucker for punishment. Remember"gotta burn off all the impurities" I have made more mistakes on a selfish(regarding single) level, looking for love in the wrong places over the years and bringing unnecessary drama and trauma to them. I feel , tho, that the deciding factor is and always has been love. I call it by name with the kids...when they forgive me, when i forgive them...there is no pride or ego for us. " That's love right there" is a common, stick in ur face for trangressions, trials, and usually teenage rubbish for us. We let go and let god and expect unconditionality in return...we no that everyone else makes the world wonderful but us together makes it go around. Please don't think it's like our own little cult...lol...we want everything there is but we need everything we have...not meaning materially! We got kinda a trilogy thing that really works for us...3's aparty but 4 is a crowd!!!! They are my contribution to the world to date...stay tuned tho because I really feel like i am just coming out of my shell ...

Wonderful thread! Sorry you had a melancholic day Min, I was feeling out of sorts recently...my son's been rather exceptionally sweet, then as I was tucking him in bed let out a flood of tears and said he can't stand the thought of me dying! I can't stand the thought of him worrying about my demise! Ah well!
Oh, I do have belly laughs a lot too! My daughter finds me funny while I chat, complain, tell a funny story etc, and often secretly films it all, much to our amusement when she shows us the film clips. Yeah, laughter is the best medicine; forget face lifts, laughter keeps you looking young too!

Sammy, I was quite taken to your last ramble there. Your son sounds like a very wise soul. Millenia older than me anyways, hahahahaha!
