Yes, me too with the car parking. In the summer months it's nigh impossible to find a shaded spot in any car park round here.
As for The Secret, well, I try to concerntrate on spiritual progress, I'm no longer interested in having material wealth, just enough will suffice. I don't mean to sound sanctimonious, incase that's how I'm coming across. A few years ago I was a right materialistic, wasteful git. I wasn't content either at the end of the day. I am now though.

Dear Petra,

I get exactly what you are saying but "Harmonic Weatlh" isn't about being materialistic. It's about balancing all aspects of wealth. Financial, yes, but also, Relational (our relationships with people), Mental, Physical and Spiritual. All of these things interact to make us a complete person, whole. Appreciating the finer things in life doesn't make you less spiritual. Loving them more than the people in the world and obsessing over them does. It's what we do that truly matters and let's face it, with more of the "Financial wealth", we can do more for those we love and the world. This book inspired me in such a way to cause me to write the following intent for my life and future.

"I am truly joyous and filled with gratitude that I have the abundance which allows me to create a significant part of if not all of the solution to any problem I see. Regardless of how big or small, whether it is personal, family and/or the world."

I don't mean to sound sanctimonious either, just inspired and uplifted. The only thing I ever ask for in my prayers is wisdom for with wisdom I can accomplish anything. I want to be a part of the positive changes that are happening in the world.

Since becoming all but penniless and away from 'Western culture, my children are more in tune with our Earth. Their toys are conkers, twigs, snails, harmless snakes, shells, rocks and all the rest. That's enough for me.

Dear Petra,

I understand where you're coming from. In the early 80's my husband, then 4 yr old son and I were homeless. We'd been out of work for most of 2 years. But because of our love and the love of our friend's and family, we came through it together.

Our son is grown and on his own, it's just my husband and me now, so I am in a very different place in my life. Yes, we want to make a LOT of money, but not for the money but for what we can accomplish with it. We are hoping to work with Steve Jobs of Apple Computers to get music back in our public schools. We want to create a foundation to help families who just need a hand up to get back on their feet to move forward on their own. Just like the people who helped us when we were down. We have other ideas as well that I won't go into here.

You're probably right. In "Harmonic Wealth" it says we have to "become" the person who can deal with all the complications that come with having large amounts of money first or it will destroy us. The "becoming" part is what I'm working on. I'm not there yet but hope to be some day soon.

I don't know where God's path will take me but I'm excited about the journey and the opportunities to spread his love along the way.

I found what you said about becoming a person who can handle the stresses of handling large amounts of money....never thought about that much before....it's interesting that people who win a large amount of money and are not used to it often squander or lose it fairly quickly.

yes I have been rather absent,,,although several times I have peeped in to see what you're all doing,,,,by the time I read all the posts I was too tired to answer anyone...the brain didn't want to function,,,I think it left with the garliced toes on a road trip...

speaking about the Abraham manifesting tools,,,,a friend phoned me the other day and we were talking about how things are happening...and she said....well I'll tell ya,,,,one day I was sitting here in my place when the landlord phoned and told me I had to move cuz they had relatives they wanted to rent to....and I thought,,,,now I need a place to live,,,,when the phone rings and it's her Great Auntie asking her to come live with her as she needs someone in the house (Great Auntie is 88)....

so she started packing up and looking into storage facilities to put her furniture when a friend called and offered their basement to put her stuff in....

quite amazing,,,,

thanks dear,,,,it's been rather hard keeping up....that sinus/cold finally turned into bronchitis,,,,and you know how tiring that can be...
and I'm about done in for today....

I was invited out for Thanksgiving Dinner today,,,which was really nice,,,since I not only didn't have to cook,,,,I didn't have to clean up...

but now, I'm ready for a nice hot bath,,,,hot tub still isn't fixed,,,but the motor/pump is being put back in this friday and next week, I'll call the electrician and see if I can't get it up and running for my birthday....

These things have to run their course..spring cleaning.....you'll soon be feeling better....ready for your approaching birthday.
It's lovely not having to do the cooking and cleaning...just being able to enjoy yourself and relax. Some nice soups will help your recovery..
The workshop I attended was brilliant....some of the things I already knew but needed to hear them again. I'm definitely progressing and beginning to trust my own judgement and dealing with the extreme sensitivity. The importance of closing down...especially at night and when I go to the mall...Setting intentions and boundaries.....knowing what's mine and what's not. Going to the Source for energy and support.
Things are looking up......blue skies....smooth sailing....that's for me. Time to get in the driver's seat and stop being led like a bull with a ring in it's nose......that sounds awful...Lol

Hi pp,
Some of the viruses going around at the moment are particularly nasty..you take care and get plenty of soup into your system...
I feel very fortunate to have found these people....and very grateful to them....they are very down to earth...which is what I need at the moment.
This morning I went out and meditated in my chair.....and felt the grounding and Mother Earth's powerful nurturing force.....gave thanks....then a chainsaw started up in the garden behind...Lol
This afternoon I had a nap and dreamt that I was looking into a backyard full of long green grass and there was a pathway through it....it was downward sloping and very inviting....then my partner's Mother was giving me hands on healing.....I was making these sounds ...toning..
I'm going to make myself a lentil soup with lots of parsley and vegetables...I'll be thinking of you and sending you healing thoughts and Love.

Hi Lilly and everyone,
a few weeks ago,,,someone came by the store with a piece of .....

well, I think it's a piece of a huge Herkimer...if you remember a couple of yrs ago I was into going up on a mtn here and a bunch of us were digging for Herkimer diamonds....

we know the mtn is loaded and when developers decided to blast one end of it away to make a'golf course'....we were all up there,,,at first you could just walk along and pick them up,,,,then eventually we had to dig,
well that area has run out abit...

but all of a sudden people are showing up with these huge pieces from the same mtn,,,,but from a different area....

the one that came into the store was about 7 inches long ,,,about 5 inches wide and about 4 inches high,,,,it's flat on one side and rises up to a mound on the top......and the guy had 4 of them....

then yesterday while I had electricians out fixing my electrical for the hot tub (which is fixed now and I was in this am)....he started to tell me about these rather large pieces....and that he had seen a vein of it....so I don't think their Herks,,,,but rather large crystal quartz veins....and he told me where to go look for them....he wasn't prepared to 'dig',,,but I think I may round up a couple of friends and head up there with a pack sack of tools and an empty pack to load....

anyway,,,what I wanted to say about this amazing piece of clear quartz,,,is that we've been using it on our healing nights....

now normally quartz or any stones,,,when you hold them,,,they heat up (from your body heat)....but this large one,,,I put on a spot on my back that was giving me trouble,,,,it was quite painful and difficult to relax,,,but afterwards it felt like I had a 'cold' ice pack on the same spot and that feeling lasted there for about 4 hrs....pretty incredible...the next day I was been able to get up and walk normal....almost without doing a complete pelvic tilt to lessen the pain...

I'm looking forward to more encounters with that piece of herk....since after feeling better, I had to move 2 cords of wood (with the help of my neighbour) into the shed as another 2 cords were coming the next day...

so I'm kind of back into the hobble around mode of walking....however,,the really good thing is,,,the hot tub got fixed...I'm considereing that my birthday present....so this am,,,,first thing,,,I got out into it....Oh what a grateful person I am for that hot tub...

it felt so good I went to lay down to meditate and of course fell asleep,,,

that was about 6 hrs ago,,,and I think I need to do the same thing again.

Hi pp,
Thank goodness your hot tub is fixed.. I used to have a small Herkimer with a silver clasp around it so it could be worn as a pendant....gave it to my son and he lost it or gave it away to someone else..more likely...never mind. I believe crystals go to who needs them.....
I know they help the body to filter out toxins and give the old liver and kidneys a break.....Lol Very powerful helping DNA and metabolic disorders..many other things....noticed in some books it says helps to resolve problems from past lives. Now a lot of the things I've read in books turns out to be untrue....if Reincarnation isn't possible...Duh!
Some people are making a fortune from others.....leading them to believe in this.....
I hope your back continues to feel better....that crystal must be just what you need.

Meditated this morning in my usual spot and saw a beautiful blue.....sent you a loving thought.....I got a chuckle out of my mind chatter....before I reached a peaceful state.....We are funny we humans....Lol

I'm off to the second part of the course I'm doing......enjoying it immensely....learning how to ground, cleanse and protect......and whatever else ....so things don't just interfere with my daily life....so much.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello to all of you. I am busily putting together the information needed for the third step in my Australian Permanent visa process. I think we may have gotten the last bit of info in the mail today. (I had to send off to have my records checked by the Australian police.) I am happy to say that they found nothing...no criminal activity of any kind. (Not that I expected any! ) But still it is noce to see it in writing.

Lilly how did your classes go? They sound great!

You know what I am in the mood for? A milk shake. ..a strawberry one to be precise, with little bits of real strawberries all through it so you wind up needing a spoon to eat it? A caramel sundae would be nice too! Can you tell I am in a sweets mood? Actually we have been doing better. I haven't made my cookies for awhile like I usually do... week ends coming up though so maybe I can make some for the neighbors to enjoy!

I'm enjoying reading everyones posts even if I haven't quite found the time of late to post here myself.

Hi Lilly,
I'll be turning in pretty soon myself. That course your taking sounds like something that would be helpful to me. I am relatively new to computers and am fine as long as I do the same simple tasks I have done before, but when something unusual happens...well something normal but out of my realm of experience, I tend to get frustrated which of course doesn't help. I am better than I was a couple years ago though so any improvement is a good thing.

we now have all the leaves falling.....everywhere....I used to bag them in pumpkin bags and line them up down the driveway....

one year I bagged a huge plastic spider bag and set it in my iris garden..it even had 8 legs that I had to stuff.....trouble was I couldn't get him to eat the nettle...hee hee...
