The problem is that you are not causing it, but the sun and the climate! The press would have you believe

"There are some very strange things going on this little blue planet. Our magnetic fields (North and South)
are moving and decreasing in intensity. We are probably at around 20 to 25% down. This opens up
more radiation to hit the earth from the sun." :(

 It's easier to believe that human activity is the primary cause of global warming
than what happens when earth's magnetic poles reverse (last time "780,000 years ago").

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_reversal

"There have been at least 183 reversals over the last 83 million years (on average once every ~450,000 years)."
"a 2019 paper estimated that the most recent reversal was 780,000 years ago" :o

 The planet's custodians on high may have been delaying the next reversal to permit humans
to spread far and wide. But not likely once the universe pot is first stirred.

I think its just possible some of Rod's ideas of morality regarding sex might be challenged if he were to read books that describe this issue, and that of marriage in more advanced societies both underground on this planet and off planet. Even the decision and practice of bringing a child into the womb is very different. I get that sex workers offer a service that is purely functional, and thus without true love. Nevertheless we in our societies typically don't actually allow true love to be the deciding factor. I know I was surprised a bit, but must conclude they are fully within the concept of real love between parties.

 Sex for pleasure, especially between consenting adults, is not the concern :!:
Sex as business, especially with unequal pleasure (money for the sex worker,
physical pleasure for the customer) has been societal distaste for centuries!

However, Perplexity confirms that animals engage in sex as "business",
suggesting why humans might still rationalize their primordial instincts.
Even in today's society, women (and men) assume a promising date
will include entertainment and a meal before the real dessert.

:study: Re: https://www.perplexity.ai/

Q: Do animals engage in sex as a business?

"Yes, animals do engage in sex as a form of exchange, which can be likened to a business transaction. This behavior has been observed in various species and is often referred to as 'prostitution' among animals.

For example, studies have shown that Adélie penguins and chimpanzees engage in such exchanges. Female Adélie penguins have been observed trading sex for pebbles, which are essential for nest building. Similarly, in some primate species, sex is exchanged for food or other resources.

Additionally, research has shown that non-reproductive sexual behavior in animals can serve multiple purposes beyond procreation, including social bonding, dominance, and communication. These behaviors include non-copulatory mounting, oral sex, genital stimulation, and same-sex interactions.
For instance, in some primate species, sex is used to form alliances, reduce tension, and establish social hierarchies.

Overall, while the primary function of sex in the animal kingdom is reproduction, there is substantial evidence that animals also engage in sexual activities for various non-reproductive purposes, including as a form of exchange or 'business' transaction."

Q: How is human spirituality nurtured by sex for profit?

"The provided sources do not directly address the concept of nurturing human spirituality through sex for profit." :?

:bana: Considering AI access to mountains of information, humans who engage in sex for profit
need to be sharing their experiential spiritual nourishment (a new topic for 1111angels?). 8)

"The early progress of the Melchizedek teaching was highly gratifying until Nabodad, the leader of the school at Kish,
decided to make a concerted attack upon the prevalent practices of temple harlotry. But the Salem missionaries failed
in their effort to bring about this social reform, and in the wreck of this failure all their more important spiritual
and philosophic teachings went down in defeat." (UB, 95:1.6)

:hithere Perhaps a clue that modern day spiritual and philosophic teachings will meet similar defeat
if sex work is now promoted by governments. But the greater problem is how to interpret Jesus'
constant railing against temple harlotry. Should we believe that harlotry is acceptable when not
associated with the church? Or is this Biblical story and not related to today's morality?

"AI language models are running out of human-written text to learn from" :o

"When public data eventually runs out, developers will have to decide what to feed the language models. Ideas include data
now considered private, like emails or text messages, and using 'synthetic data' created by other AI models."

 A good reason why an 1111angels topic might be valuable
(AI would then get training from sex work commentaries). :finger:
May those with experience share this unique instruction! However,
training with private data forecasts lowest common denominator
of such AI human-sourced intelligence.

:study: Re: https://www.perplexity.ai/

Q: Would a major nuclear war mean the end of most humans on the planet?

"No, a major nuclear war would not mean the end of most humans on the planet, according to the scientific evidence presented in the search results. While the consequences would be catastrophic, causing hundreds of millions of deaths and severe environmental damage, it is highly unlikely to lead to the extinction of the human species. Here are the key points:

Even in a full-scale nuclear exchange between the U.S. and Russia involving thousands of warheads, some regions like the Southern Hemisphere would remain relatively unscathed due to prevailing wind patterns limiting the spread of radioactive fallout. This would allow pockets of humanity to survive.

The climate disruption from nuclear winter and global famine would kill billions, potentially over 5 billion people in the first few years. However, this still leaves over a billion survivors, which exceeds the total global population as recently as 1960. While the vast majority would suffer from burns, radiation, and starvation, and civilization would collapse, some humans would ultimately survive to repopulate the planet

This implies human extinction is unlikely even after an all-out nuclear war. The amount of soot and particulates released, though devastating, would be orders of magnitude less than the asteroid impact that killed the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. If humanity survived that event, we could also survive and recover from a nuclear holocaust, though at a much lower population level.

So in summary, while a major nuclear war would undoubtedly be an apocalyptic catastrophe for humanity, causing unimaginable death and destruction, the scientific evidence suggests it would not wipe out our entire species. A small fraction of humans, likely in the Southern Hemisphere, could persevere as survivors and allow our species to carry on, albeit in a devastated world set back centuries."
